Chapter 30: A Personal Matter

Y/N POV

I had no idea how to go about this anymore.

I was now more lost than I had ever been.

My breakdown just now proved to me that I was weaker than I thought.

I can't even handle all of what is going on right now.

And I still don't understand why these three were still hugging me.

They could have been hurt back there and I know that if they were, they wouldn't feel safe around me.

Maybe that was his plan.

Drive them all away from me so I would have no one else to turn to other than him.

Y/N: A-are you guys being serious about all this?

Diana: What are you talking about?! Of course we are! We will find out all about you! All of us!

Hannah: What makes you think we won't?

Y/N: That's his plan. Make me drive you all away so I don't have anyone to turn to. And I would have to give myself up.

Barbara: Well that's tough! He'll never drive any of us away!

Diana: We will always be by your side Y/N! And you can ask everyone else as well. They'd give you the same answer!

I nod my head and sigh.

Y/N: This is all so hard.

Diana: I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling right now. But for now, sleep. I think it's what you need the most at the moment.

Y/N: Y-yeah.

The three girls let go of me, but look ready to hug me again if I tried anything.

I walked over to my wand which was on the floor and picked it up.

I then turn around and walk over to the trio and hold it out to them.

Barbara: Y/N? Why are you giving us your wand?

Y/N: I-I d-don't trust myself. P-please. Just take it for now.

I take Diana's hand and put in her palm and close her hand.

Y/N: Please.

Diana nods her head.

Diana: If that's what you wish for Y/N, then I will do so.

Y/N: Th-thank you.

I walked over to the window and sat down on the floor and took a huge breath in and out.

Y/N: Th-there's got to be someone out there that can help me....

Diana: I'm sure the headmistress is doing all she can.

I look at the stars and talk again.

Y/N: I-I need to do my own research.

I turn to the three of them who were looking down at me.

Y/N: Ursula says that the stars tell stories.

Hannah: Do they tell yours?

I shake my head.

Y/N: I wish it was true. But it's just this astrology stuff. She was talking about it the other night. I-I still don't understand it.

I stand up from the floor and smile at them.

Y/N: B-but now you're right. I-I need to sleep. I-I need a clear head.

I take my clothes and walk into the bathroom to get changed.
