Taeyong's POV

"I'm gonna do it." I get up. "Do what?" Jaehyun asks me confused. "Confess to y/n." I smile. "Finally." Doyoung smiles. "You think she'll say yes?" I ask. "The way you talk about your moments together, it sounds like she really likes you as well. So don't break your head over it." I nod and take my phone. "Wait you're not gonna do it over text right?" Doyoung asks. "I'm gonna call her." I say. "Ask her to come over and do it in person." They tell me.

I call y/n, she picked up quickly. "Hey Taeyong, what's up?" I hear her sweet and cheerful voice. "Can you come over?" I ask. "I was already on my way." She chuckles. "But why'd you ask?" She asks me. "I need to tell you something." I say. "Is it something bad? You sound really serious." She says. "It's nothing bad, please just come quickly." I tell her. "Okay, I'll be there soon." She says before we end the call. "And?" Doyoung and Jaehyun Look at me. "She's coming. Oh I'm nervous but also excited." I say.

I waited for y/n to arrive. Instead of the bell ringing the front door opened. I look at the door and see Johnny walk in with y/n right behind him. "You're here, I gotta tell you something. Can you come with me?" Johnny stops us. "Wait we got some good news too, we wanna tell everyone." He says and pulls y/n next to him again. "Okay what is it?" Jaehyun asks. "First the other guys. CAN EVERYONE COME HERE?" And soon the living room was filled. We all looked at y/n and Johnny.

"Why are we here?" Jungwoo asks. "Yeah why? I was playing games." Haechan mumbles disappointed. "We have very amazing news!" They both smile. "Then tell us!" Yuta said impatient. "We are dating." They hug as they told us. Everyone got quiet. "This is nothing new, can I go back again?" Mark asks. "Wait, how'd you know?" Jaehyun asks him. "They already told me before." He says. Doyoung looks at me in concern. "Well congratulations." Yuta smiles and gets up to leave again. "I'm happy for you guys." Haechan smiles. "Johnny we're gonna have a talk now." Taeil says. "Oh okay." He follows Taeil. "Are you okay?" The rest asks me.

I nod but honestly I was not okay. Everyone knew I liked y/n, even Johnny knew. "What did you wanna tell me?" Y/n asks me. "Doesn't matter anymore. I hope you're happy." I return to my room and close the door behind me. I lay down under my blanket and hug my teddy bear closely. It really hurts me to know that I'm too late. Y/n has found someone else. She clearly didn't like me the same way. I'm telling myself not to cry, I should be happy that she is happy.

A soft knock was placed on my door after a while. "I wanna be alone, go away." I softly say. "Taeyong I wanna talk." I hear y/n say. Would I let her in or not? "Can I come in?" She asks me. "Fine." She opens the door and walks in, I turn in my bed so I'd face her. "Are you okay?" Was the first thing she asked. "I don't know am I?" I questioned. "I've heard from Johnny what's going on." I knew where this was going, a double rejection, breaking my heart even more. I'm not ready for that.

"So you like me?" I shook my head. "I didn't just like you, I love you a lot and I thought you shared the same feeling. Everyone thought so. Johnny knew my feelings for you and still he confesses to you and asks you out." I was angry but also sad. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She asks. "What does it matter? You would've said yes to me instead? No that means you're just with Johnny because he asked you first. Do you even love him?" Y/n answers hesitantly. "Of course. Else I wouldn't date him."

"Well, If you love him you still would've rejected me even if I confessed earlier. It's no point, I would in any scenario possible be heartbroken." I say. "I'm sorry." She apologises. "You don't have to apologise for feelings. That's stupid." I say. "You're a really nice, funny, caring, smart, fashionable, precious, cute and handsome guy. We've spend so much time together and it was all fun. But I'm in love with Johnny now. I'm sure you'll find someone else way better and prettier than me, someone you really love and they love you back." I shook my head.

"I don't want that. But guess that I have no choice." I sigh. "Don't be too sad please. You know it hurts me to see you so sad." She pouts. "And we can still be friends." I shook my head. "I need space right now, it might be better if we don't see each other for a while." I tell her. "I guess if that works for you the best then I can do that. I'm sorry Taeyong." She apologises again. "I'm going now. Bye, take care of yourself okay?" I nod. Y/n gets up and leaves my room.
