I arrived at the High School and parked the car right in front of the school. I waited inside until the bell was heard, I got out of the car, and leaned my back against it, my hood up and my sunglasses on. I waited and waited, until I saw Peter come out of the doors with another guy, which I guessed was Ned, his best friend.

I smiled instantly when I saw him, I was remembering everything that happened at war some time ago, at night I still had nightmares where I would see him dead on the ground and where I would be powerless and I wouldn't be able to get him back. I shook my head trying to shake this nightmare away, when I saw him stop and look at me from afar. I straighten my posture and smiled at him, Ned was clearly confused by what was happening. He started to walk towards me when all of a sudden a girl arrived in my eye sight and she jumped at Peter's neck, he instantly wrapped his arms around her and smiled at her with his handsome smile. I felt something drop inside me, but I brushed it off, trying to keep my smile up.
What's wrong with me? I thought to myself.

"Hey." I heard him say walking towards me, a bit uncomfortably, he had Ned and the girl right behind him,

"Hi, how are you?" I asked him, feeling a bit out of place, I shouldn't have come.

"I am good, and you? How come you're here?" he asked me smiling, and everything felt normal again,

"Well, I hadn't seen you in a while and I was wondering where my best friend had gone." I said shrugging my shoulders,

"Hey, I am his best friend and only best friend." I heard a voice say behind him and there he was, I chuckled a bit,

"I assume you're Ned?" I asked offering him my hand for him to shake, he looked at me in the eyes through my sunglasses and it's as if something turned on in his eyes,

"You're- you're-" he started I shook my head and saw Peter do the same, Ned looked confused but after a while eventually played on,

"You're someone I have no idea of, but yes I am Ned." he said shaking my hand finally, I smiled,

"Hi, I am Mia." I tell him, no-one knew my name, so it was fine, I looked behind them and then saw the girl, she looked a bit bothered,

"Hi," I greet her she looks up,

"Hi, I am-" she was cut off by Ned,

"It's MJ, she's Peter's girlfriend." he said all proud of himself, I felt that thing again, but I don't really pay attention to it, my smile was beginning to fall a bit as the smile on MJ's face grew wider and she went towards Peter, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers, Peter on the other hand looked completely stiffed.

"Well, it's so nice to meet you guys, I had just come over to see how Peter was doing." I said to them again,

"How do you know Peter?" asked MJ, curious as to know how her boyfriend would know a girl like me,

"Euhm- from my internship with Mister Stark." he said and even tho the name made me want to puke I just nodded and smiled,

"You must be loaded to have such a nice car." said Ned, the guy really did not have a filter,

"I just have nice friends." I smiled at him and he pressed his face against the car window to look inside, Peter, was so silent it made me sick, I never saw him this silent,
