A Part Of It (Avengers)

Chapter 40

As soon as I opened my eyes we weren't on earth anymore, a beautiful golden city was before us, I looked at my surroundings as soon as I heard a unknown voice,

"Took you long enough, brother." a pale skinned guy, with black hair slicked back and a love for green clothes said, to which I only assumed as Loki, God of Mischief, he did look better than I expected,

"Sorry Loki, the goodbyes were a bit longer than expected. Nothing against you lady Mia." he said in his all too polite manner,

"Non-taken." I tell him smiling at Loki, who now looked at me with squinted eyes,

"Hi, I'm Mia." I tell him and he just hummed, I looked over to Thor and he just shook his head, then another man came into view,

"Mia? Mia Jones?" he said approaching me, he was so tall it was kind of impressive, 

"Mia this is Heimdall, he sees all on the Nine Realms, he probably already knows you. He guards the BiFrost." Thor said as I looked intently at the man in front of me, he most certainly did not look familiar but still something about him was making me feel... at home.

"I know you will find what you are looking for Lady Mia, Odin might be just the answer." he said, Loki, Thor and I looked at each other all three of us having an eyebrow raised,

"Well to my Father we shall go then." with that I felt a hand on my back and as if nothing happened my breath was cut short as we were in a big hall, I coughed a couple of times,

"You could have warned her!" Thor growled at his brother, who had a small devilish smirk playing on his face, I rolled my eyes at him,

"Are you okay Mia?" Thor asked coming towards me putting a hand on my back, I just nodded, getting ahold of my breathing again,

"Where are we?" I asked them, once I had fully recovered,

"We are going to enter the throne room where our Father Odin, is waiting for you." Thor said again, and that was totally not a nerve-racking situation I was going to be put in, but I thought that it was needed anyway, Thor walked in front of us and opened the door, his father had a proud smile seeing his son enter the room and making such a grand entrance, 

"My Son, Thor, to what do I owe the pleasure of having you here today." he said and Thor moved over and revealed me to Odin, as soon as he saw me his eye grew wide and he stood up, almost stumbling down the stairs that led down to us from his throne, he approached me,

"Odyssea?" he said barely above a whisper, I stood there not sure of what to say, he shook his head obviously shaking off the idea he had in mind,

"Everybody out! NOW!" he yelled and everybody left the throne room, only the four of us were still there,

"Excuse me my child, I thought you were someone else." he excused himself, 

"Father, she is the daughter of Sylvia." Thor said looking at his father,

"We are here to seek answers, as to how her mother could travel to Asgard without any guard or member of the royal family of Asgard." Thor asked, and for once Loki had gotten rid of his smug look and looked deep in thoughts, 

"Come with me, you have a lot to learn my dear." he said, as we followed him as we headed out to the balcony the view of Asgard taking my breath away,

"For the past is a great treasure, it is not a light trip. You will have to venture in the past and understand what happened and why it happened. It will take time Mahalia." he said, I kind of wanted to correct him on my name but I just didn't think it was the most important thing at the moment, so I just nodded understanding,
