Chapter 39

I woke up to an alarm going off. I stirred but realised I had someone next to me, as soon as I open my eyes, I saw a very asleep Peter, he was under his covers in his pyjamas and I was still wearing the same thing as yesterday night, and I was over his covers. 

"Hey love, I think you need to get ready for school." I tell him poking his cheek, trying to wake him up, he mumbled something that I honestly don't think was English and I laughed, which apparently worked on having him to wake up. 

"Hi beautiful." he said opening one eye and closing it as fast, hugging me, I kissed his cheek and sat up, putting my hair into a bun. 

"Peter, you really have to wake up." I tell him watching the minutes go by, and he opened his eyes,

"Okay, okay, but- wait, is that the time?" he asked panicked all of a sudden,

"Yes it is." I tell him laughing at him because I knew he'd be late,

"That's not funny love, I am going to be late!" he said as I see him start to run everywhere in the room, I put my coat on,

"I am going so you can get ready, I love you be careful at school." I tell him, taking him by his collar and crushing my lips on his, he had a goofy smile on,

"Did I tell you that I love you?" he said to me as I was opening his window to fly back to the compound,

"Yeah, but I never get tired of it." I tell him ready to fly back,

"Be careful! See you later." I heard him scream from inside of his bedroom as I was already flying. As soon as I got back, I entered the compound and went straight to the kitchen,

"Hi guys." I greet everybody as I make my way towards the fridge,

"Well, well, well, from where are you flying back?" Nat's voice ring in my ear, a small smirk plastered on her face,

"I went to visit Peter yesterday, I couldn't really sleep." I tell her, and I saw her smirk grow wider,

"Nothing happened, you dirty minded assassin." I laugh at her, while I grab the bottle of juice, and pour myself a glass of it, just as Thor enters the kitchen,

"Hi, I haven't seen you in a while." I tell him smiling as he sat down at the kitchen counter in front of me, he looked exhausted,

"It has been a long time indeed, I have been searching the galaxy for a way to find out who you were and where you come from, but I guess that you coming with us might be easier." he tells me, still a worried look on his face, I frowned my eyebrows, I knew this would come but I hoped that maybe I wouldn't have to go,

"Well, if that is the only way to truly understands where I come from then it's fine by me." I tell him, feeling nervous already,

"By the way you said 'us' who is us?" I asked him, and that's when a small smirk played on his lips,

"Us would be, you, me and my brother." he said and that's when it hit me, yeah, I was going to actually meet Loki,

"We shall leave tonight, the sooner we get there the better." he said again, and I just nodded, nerves eating me alive, his words hitting me like a truck, he stood up and went on his own way, I turned around releasing a big sigh,

"Well, that's going to be an adventure." I hear Nat say from beside me, her serious self back,

"Yeah, I am so nervous." I tell her, rubbing a hand on my forehead, just then Bucky sat at the kitchen counter too, joining in on the conversation,

"You know how long you will be leaving?" he asked me and sadly I just shrugged my shoulders shaking my head,

"Hopefully not too long, three to four days I hope. I have to text Peter that I will be leaving tonight." I tell them, and they both nod at me,
