Chapter 33

I woke up and looked around me, I was in my room at the compound and with the same clothes as yesterday, I must've completely crumbled down, I was so tired. But I had an amazing night with Peter and Ned, and I honestly couldn't wait to go and help little Ned, find his girl at the prom.

I looked at the time and it was 9.15 a.m., I opened my messages and texted Nat,

M: Hey babe you up?

After I texted her I saw that I had gotten a text from Peter yesterday at 2 a.m.,

P: Sleep tight Mia x

I smiled at myself but also I wondered why he was up at that time still. I touched the keyboard and started to type a message,

M: Thanks Peter! I am guessing you're probably still asleep so sleep tight too Parker ^-^

Just after that I received a message from Nat, to tell me to come to her room. So I got up changed real quick and made my way towards her room. As soon as I got in front of her door, I knocked and waited for her to tell me to come in, once she did I stepped in.

"Hey girls." I tell them, she was with Aly on the bed and they were watching cartoons, I sat next to them,

"Hey M, so how was it yesterday night?" she asked me smiling as I embraced Aly in a gigantic hug, and she giggled, she then proceeds to pull on my curls.

"It was really nice, I got to know Peter's best friend from school, and we watched movies, I got to know his aunt, which is sooo good looking I wonder why she is single really." I tell her and she looks at me thinking,

"Nothing else?" she asked and I look at her with wide eyes,

"Euhm no, I mean yes, they have their prom this Sunday which is tomorrow, and I said to Ned that I would go with him. He actually needs someone to build his confidence up to go talk to this one girl, and also since I have never been to a single prom I thought it'd be fun." I said, and now she smiled,

"Now that is nice, you need to go out more, and how did Parker take it?" she asked me and I was happy to hear her say those things, I finally felt like a 21 year old,

"Euhm he did look pissed at first which was really funny, but then yeah I mean, why would he be pissed right?" I asked her laughing a bit, and making Aly a ponytail with her hair.

"Oh my could you be more clueless?" she asked me, and my mouth dropped a bit,

"Rude much?" I tell her playfully and she smiles but rolls her eyes,

"Mia, he likes you, that's why he was pissed." she tells me and things started to add up in my head,

"You think so? I mean, I don't know, what should I do?" I ask her,

"Well, you like him back?" she asked and that question took me aback, I mean I loved the guy as my best friend but more? How would I know?

"I don't know, I mean with everything that happened with Tony, a couple of months ago, I don't think I am ready for anything." I tell her genuinely, the hurt of what Tony did still really alive in my heart,

"Hun, what Tony did, was still beyond any comprehension, do you feel the same thing you felt with Tony, with Peter?" she asked and I instantly shake my head no,

"No, not at all, I know Peter, we get along so well, I know he'd never treat me the way Tony did, you know in a way, when I got to bring him back I feel like our connexion grew stronger. So no there's nothing to compare with Tony, he was nice, and good looking and he just you know, he probably was more a crush than anything else, but it still hurt you know?" I tell her and she nodded,
