Toms POV
One year ago

Tom is lying on his bed and thinks about you.

Tom: *I'm glad I finally had the guts to tell y/n how I feel.*

He gets interrupted by Haz running into his room.

Haz: IS IT TRU THAT YOU TOLD MY LITTLE SUSTER THAT YOU LOVE HER?!?!

Tom: Yeah mate what's the problem?

Haz: You have to break up with her!

Tom: What? No!

He looks confused at Haz.

Tom: Why would I do that??

Haz: You're not good for her!

Tom: How do you know that?

Haz: You know she has trust issues and depression she is finally doing better again. Do you want to make it worse  when you leave to shoot and kiss other girls she might hurt herself again.. Do you want that?  Do you want her to feel miserable?

Tom: Of course not! I love her!

Haz: Then break up with her and let her be happy!

Tom thinks about it for a while and gets tears in his eyes.

Tom: Do you really think that's the best?

Haz: I do! Sorry mate.

Tom doesn't say anything.

Haz: So are you going to do it?

Tom: Hm? Yeah ok.. If you really think it's the best I'll do it..

He gets out of his bed and goes over to your room. He knocks on the door and waits for you to answer.

Your POV
You stand in front of your mirror and look at your body. You hate what you see and get tears in your eyes. Suddenly you hear a knock on your door. You wipe your tears away and put a jumper because you were standing there only in your underwear.

Y/n: COME IN!!

He takes he deep breath and opens the door. You sit in your bed and smile at him. You're so happy that you can finally be with him. He makes you feel better and more confident. You see that he has tears in his eyes.

Y/n: Hey baby what's wrong?

He looks down in the floor. You get up from your bed and take is head in your hands so he has to look at you.

Y/n: Common tell me what wrong?

He swallows and and sits on your bed. You sit next to him and look worried.

Tom: I-I have to talk to you..

Y/n: Yes of course!

Tom just sits there and can't get the right words.

Y/n: You're making me worried. What is it? Is it about your brother? Did you fight?

He shakes his head.

Y/n: Is it your parents?

He shakes his head again. You get tears in your eyes.

Y/n: Is it us?

He doesn't say or move.

Y/n: I don't want to guess anymore tell me what's wrong?

Tom: I think..

He takes a deep breath again.

Tom: I think we should break up.. I feel like we're better as friends.

Your eyes start to fill up with tears.

Y/n: Oh wow I- I didn't expect that...
