Chapter 48

Taking a deep breath in, I looked in the mirror at myself. Today we would be going to Jins family's house for a day late christmas dinner. And we would be also telling them about the pregnancy.

As I continued looking into the mirror, I felt two hands on my hips. Jins hot breath lingered on my earlobe before I felt him softly nibble at it. He kept planting soft kisses on my ear, making me hum and reach back to comb my hands through his hair.

"Baby you look fine. Don't stress out."

I turned around in his arms so I was facing him. "I'm just nervous you know. We've only been married two months but we are already pregnant. What will your parents think? Oh God and what will ARMY think when you tell them?"

Jin smiled, kissing me. "Relax. My parents are going to be fine with it. As for ARMY, once we get the first ultrasound picture, we will announce it on vlive together."

I took a deep breath in. I wiggled out of Jins grasp and organized his families gifts. Would they like these gifts? Would they think I'm trying too hard? What if the----

"Babe, no more overthinking. Let's go" Jin said, picking up his families gifts. We headed out of our room and down the stairs.

Dakota, Soobin, Jimin, and Kisa were sitting on the couches watching a movie. They looked up when they saw us.

"You guys look super cute in your matching outfits" Dakota said.

I was wearing a red dress with a gold belt and matching gold heels. Jin was wearing a red collared shirts tucked into black slacks and a gold tie. Personally I hate gold but Jin picked these outfits out so I'm happy to go along with it.

"Thank you. I picked them out" Jin said, proudly puffing out his chest. I laughed, placing my hand on his chest as he pulled me closer to him.

"Off to the families house?" Jimin asked. I nodded my head. "What are you kids up to?"

They all exchanged glances. "Well, we are going to finish this movie then we are going out on a double date. Maybe get some food, walk around, go shopping" Soobin said.

"Have fun kids. And fellas, I don't want my girls out too late. You know how Uncle Jin is."

I just laughed and started pushing my husband towards the door. "You guys are fine. Just be careful."

I mainly stayed quiet on the drive to Jins family house. I got to thinking about how, it snows here but its nothing compared to back home. We get so much snow that you could literally jump off the roof of your house and safely land on the ground in a giant mountain of snow. Then my mind switched into thinking about our baby. How much cultural differences they would have and wondering if it's a good thing.

While in my daze I felt a hand creep up to mine. I looked down to see Jin lacing his hand in mine.

"What's eating you up?" He asked.

I sighed.

"Do you think the cultural differences will be too much for our baby? They would learn english and korean. They would learn about American history as well as Korean history."

Jin chuckled. "Sweetheart. Stop worrying. Our baby will be more intelligent than Namjoon. Having two cultures isn't a bad thing. Of course we are going to teach the baby to speak english and Korean. And of course it's not a bad thing if the baby learned about American history as well as Korean. We will not  hide either heritage from them. Ok?"

I smiled, rubbing the back of his hand with my thumb. "I guess you're right. I don't know why I'm worrying so much."

"Of course I'm right. Now, chill baby. We are here."
