Genesia was being choked to death. Which was why he woke up to life.

"Lapis, stop," he grumbled, waiting for the green mamba to release him.

"I bit you and everything," Lapis hissed in an almost sighing manner, slithering from her self-made chokehold and wrapping herself around Genesia's arm.

"You know my blood can counter your venom. Is that why you resorted to being more direct this time instead of subtle?" Genesia waited for the waves of paralysis to subside.

"Since no poison can kill you, I sought to squeeze your life away. You look like death most of the time anyway."

Genesia showed a delayed smile.

Lapis hissed. "That's forced."

"You did force my lips." Genesia moved his hand up to his hair like a sloth, before bursting awake in a sudden surge of energy, flinging Lapis off his arm like a wet cloth.

Lapis hissed spitefully. "Rude."

Genesia stretched, cracking his joints and taking in deep, meditative breaths. One. Two. In. Out.

His eyes shot through the strips of light to see that he was in a little barn. Ramiya's dairy farm. I'm back in Kumbaktu. She picked me up from Lenwi.

His pupils thinned, walking out of the little barn into the wide stretching hectares of green grass. The heat immediately swarmed over and underneath him like a tidal wave. He inhaled the hot, fuming air.

Cows were moved into the dairy product extraction sheds by the servants and workers, while other cows roamed about openly, grazing.

Genesia walked out with Lapis slithering up his leg and hanging off his shoulder. He stopped for a moment, staring at the green scenery that meshed and coalesced with the setting redness of the sun.

He winced and drew in a sharp breath. He glanced towards a nearby stream where the cows drank water, narrowing in on the blues and allowing Gene to unveil the diagram they had worked on.

Blue for Kakara and V. Green for Ramela, Ramoth, Ramiya, Ishthrylla and Gabrielle. Red for Lovouta. Has Neo drawn her equivalents?

That, or she doesn't give a fuck and it'll magically appear to her one time without having to work on it like us. Gene grunted in an amused manner, clasping his hands behind him, next to Genesia internally.

They focused on Ramela and Lovouta in particular. The blood connection is growing stronger each day. Gene used a chalk to draw a straight line that chained him to Lovouta and Ramela. His heart beat like a passionate drum. His brain throbbed in restless stimulation.

He stopped, taking a break to breathe. Externally, Genesia searched around for Ramiya in the distance who appeared, carrying two buckets of milk. She placed them down and noticed his gaze from afar. She waved for his assistance.

He joined her, still doing mental acrobatics until he caught up to her. "Nice entrance." Hee gave her a tight smile, going over to carry multiple buckets of milk at once with ease.

"Nice pickup." Ramiya smiled back, resorting to one bucket. Azizi trotted next to her. The wild cat looked rather annoyed having to keep up with them instead of being carried. He glared at the buckets as though they had taken his rightful place in his master's hands.

"Azizi is upset," Genesia revealed.

"Of course I'm upset! That's my throne!" Azizi hissed loudly.

Ramiya glanced at him. "We both need to work more on ourselves, Azizi. I can't keep clinging onto you all the time like a child. I suspect I'll have to give you away someday," she expressed regretfully.
