"Aachi, aachi, aachi." Neosa complained, full of body pains along her muscles and back, looking down in between her legs that bloomed with scarlet womanhood.

'Hayi, what a mess,' Neo scrutinized with a grimace.

The throbbing cramps in her lower abdomen hurt so much that she had developed the habit of punching her rock solid abs to make beats of music while curling up like a ball to distract herself until the pain subsided.

"Where the hell is Lophi too with our porifera sponge? This bloody one needs replacing now! I don't want my puni-puni exposed like this."

Neo was about to reply when she heard a dolphin by the name of Lophi tossing over a porifera sponge overboard, found from the ocean floor.

"Aaha! There we go, sho Lophi!" Neosa produced a thankful combination of whistles. The dolphin replied back in kind.

"You're welcome," the dolphin said, and added another combination of sounds. "By the way, there's going to be a sardine run soon, if you don't want to miss out on the food, you should sort your shit out soon."

"Huh? Soon? Why didn't you tell me, like — sooner?" Neosa responded by clicking in disbelief.

Lophi laughed with a squeaking sound similar to a creaking door, splashing water over the lifeboat to wash her legs and lady parts before going back down into the water with a smug descent.

'That cocky bastard, how dare he hide this information from us!'

"Hayi, he's a right old thief and he knew we'd be in a foul mood today. My boob-boobs are sore, my hip-hips are sore, my bum-bums are sore, hayi! Everything is sore! What the fuck man!" Neosa pouted and slammed her hands down repeatedly in a childish tantrum.

Then, she cried in hysterical sadness at the mere thought of missing out on all the fun.

"Batông!" Goodnes! She exclaimed. "It's not fair! Why must I be the only one to suffer like this? It could have been any day of the month, but nooooooo."

'Kosiam sissie, this is bullshit. But! Oh. Hehe, but, like our big butt.' Neo giggled.

Neosa's mood changed again like an abrupt sharp turn, sitting up straight to replace her old sponge with the new one. She dressed herself properly in her grey-brown bull shark swimsuit.

She stood up with wobbling failure, falling at least three times before she got her balance right with several foul mouthed swears in the Racaan tongue that the ancestors would have surely shaken their heads at. Once she fully recovered, she looked at her reflection in the water, admiring her growth over the past four months.

Months she didn't keep track of, as the concept of time had all but escaped her entirely in the ocean. The ocean is a very, very, very big world on its own mind you. For one to have even the tiniest measure of how big it is...

Well — one would have to be stranded in it first of all, since seventy percent of mother Earth consisted of just ocean water.

Some days Neosa felt like she had made significant progress with the distance she traveled on the lifeboat and whenever she was underwater.

Oh, how naive she was. If only she had the view of a god from above to truly see how microscopic she was and how little distance she had actually made in the cold Atlantic Ocean.

Nonetheless, she kept herself busy, so busy that she barely thought or gave herself time to think about anything painful except... living, like a dream and making the best of her new deluded life.

"Yaaaaaa neh! Look at you Neo girly, ya no you're too beautiful shame! I wish I could show off to Mamzo Khona and them. Look at your tenaciously toned and fitty fitness that finesses the waters! Heheee! I'm sure Mama is thinking the same thing with Mamane."
