"So?"

A soft voice inquired, though it didn't sound grounded in the normality of clear frequency. It sounded too clear, too perfect, without any kind of interference in sound, be it the air or any kind of natural forces. As though the voice spoke through a vacuum.

Nothing else could be heard inside the vast fabrication of space that was the connected minds of mother and daughter.

"So what?" Another voice replied with a rather dismissive tone.

"Have you figured out what the trick is yet?"

No answer.

"Hmm?"

Still no answer.

"I'm still willing to give some tips about—"

"I don't need them."

"Oh? Is that so? Okay dear, then beat me already."

"This is stupid Mama. Obviously you're the one with the advantage inside here no matter how many times we go at it. It's pointless. Nothing ever changes. It's always the same result over and over again. If we went at it for real outside then I'd—"

"Still fail in beating me because you keep holding back."

An answer in silence.

"That's the only reason you keep losing to me. You're scared of hurting me. But you always forget who the mother of the strongest human warrior is don't you?"

"That's not—"

"It's true, and you know it. You have to place more trust in me dear, just as I am with you. That's why we keep doing this. Training the mind and spirit is just as if not more important than training the body. You already have the necessary mental fortitude. All you need right now, is to let go completely."

Their bodies glowed faintly in the empty confides of space with the same light that the stars twinkled with. The scenery resembled them being lost in the never ending cosmos, drifting and floating away, with the only difference being that they were grounded in darkness, free to morph the world to take whatever form they so desired under the image meditation spell.

Imagis.

Imagis allowed the minds and spirits of souls to be connected together through Amandla in order to visualize and fabricate whatever type of spiritual world they desired. Imagis could be used for anything, including imaginative mental training and general meditation of the soul.

Kakara glanced over to her left with an expression filled with unwillingness to continue participating. I know the mind is more important than the body. The problem is that my mind is all fucked up and uncontrollable. I don't trust myself with what could happen to you if shit goes haywire inside here.

Minaleese sighed bitterly at her daughter's hesitation. "You never hold back when you and the twins train with Renero. Both inside here and outside there."

That's because I can't afford to hold back with that man in any scenario. He eats me alive for breakfast. I can't hold back against the brats either.

Minaleese dropped her gaze to her hand that crafted a small butterfly made up of Amandla that soon multiplied into a dozen smaller butterflies that disintegrated as soon as they formed.

"You... still think I'm weak don't you? Just something to protect, something that always needs protecting and nothing more," she asked, not harshly, but softly.
