The moon was up and bright, but Genesia hid low beneath the light of the tall fields, to not be seen, to not be sensed and to not be heard. He silently edged closer and closer, ready to claim what was rightfully his, ready to become the greatest, and ready to take down all the wrongs in his way.

Tlaya, tlaya. Mon, mon. Come here, come here. Feed me, don't escape me. Fill me, don't empty me. Let me feast on you, let me rip you, let me kill you. Let me devour you. Let me save. Let me cure you. Let me curse you. Let me—

"Oi Sankwade!"

He started. "Neo?"

His head got up from its concealed position to look over the fields and be exposed to the world.

"Oi Sankwade!"

He scowled, trying to ascertain where in fuck his twin was and why in the hell she had ruined his perfect plan.

Oh sacred Ìbejí twins I beg you to please save me from this noisy girl...

"Oi Sankwade!"

He kept quiet.

"Oi Sankwade, are you awake?"

He remained quiet.

"Oi Sankwa—"

"Na man, me I'm gone," he broke his quietness.

"Hehe, well guess what?"

Out of nowhere, his twin sprinted and tackled him, both rudely and playfully with the force of a volcanic ball of sunshine.

She enveloped herself in her red fiery aura of Amandla to transform into her normal body with the exception of her saber tooth fangs on her mouth.

She stood up with the most cocky smile of all time and the most overly confident loud and proud voice of all time.

"I'm not! I'm not gone bhuti! I'm here to stay!"

The crowd roared with humid cheers of fire that filled the very air itself in rising with her voice. The tall fields turned into lights of faceless people that worshiped her like a Goddess of the morning.

She reveled in her glory with outstretched hands, thanking her people, her subjects, her one squad for reminding her on why she's the best.

"Cause I'm the only one that shines and burns with the sun!"

She held her hand out for her brother to take, still smiling all the way to the red sun that was rising behind her.

"So come on moody moon boy! Wake up! Or I'll leave you behind!"

Her beaming smile turned a little sad in noticing the darkness that was beginning to fester inside him.

"Wake up, or I'll never forgive you. It's you and me against the world Gene. We started this story, and we'll end this story together."

He stared at her for a long time, noticing how the sun kept rising behind her, all the while he kept falling. A momentary feeling of inferiority clouded his sight and strength in matching his soul mate.

Genesia couldn't help but show a conniving grin that had a greater plan that even Neosa could never possibly match. One he would not share and one he would keep to himself to contrast what she wasn't sharing with him. He took a hold of her hand and rose from the ground to stand.

She kept jumping up and down excitedly with a fierce expression that was just dying to have a competitive race with him.

He cooly accepted her challenge. They were back at it again. The yin and yang of thinking and acting. Mercury and Mars. Original and One. Moon and Sun. Night and Day. The light of night and the light of day.
