NIYA POV:-

The sun was shining brightly in the sky and the birds were singing their cheerful melodies. The cool breeze brushed against my face, making me feel alive and free. I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and contentment as I watched the leaves rustling in the wind and the squirrels scampering along the branches of the trees.

I was seated on a bench in the park, a place that held many fond memories for me. My grandmother and I used to come here all the time when I was younger. I closed my eyes and listened to the soothing sounds of nature, feeling completely at peace.

"Isn't it just beautiful and peaceful here?" I said to the person who had taken a seat next to me. I could feel their presence even though my eyes were closed.

"Yes, it certainly is," they replied, their tone indicating a smile.

We sat in silence for a moment, simply enjoying the natural beauty around us.

"So, what brings you back here again?" the person next to me asked.

"You," I answered, causing a moment of silence between us. Finally, she spoke again.

"You need to stop doing this, Niya. You don't belong here yet. You need to go back to your life," my grandmother said, trying to lighten the mood with a nervous chuckle.

"I belong here, Nani, not out there. I feel like I don't belong in the real world. I'm supposed to be here, in peace with you," I said as I opened my eyes and looked at her, offering a small smile.

"No, my child. You don't belong here. You have a beautiful life waiting for you out there. It's not your time yet. You need to go back," she said as she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. I could feel the love and care that I had been craving.

"Nobody wants me there, Nana. Everyone hates me. I just want to be here with you," I said, my voice cracking with emotion. I bit my lip as I tried to hold back the tears that were forming in my eyes.

"That's not true, dear. No one hates you. They just don't know you yet. Give them a chance to get to know the real you," she said as she gently smoothed out the wrinkles on my forehead. I could hear the desperation in her voice as she tried to console me.

I glanced down and saw my sister, sobbing and crying. Even Cedric was holding my hand and praying for me. A small smile touched my lips, but I was tired. Tired of running from love and care, tired of running from betrayal, tired of running from my own darkness.

"You need to go back there, Niya, or you will die. Your body is not responding to their treatment because you have no will to live," my grandmother said as she held my hand, trying to convince me. I could see the love, concern, and care in her eyes.

"I don't want to go back yet, Nana. I just want to be here with you for one more day. Please," I begged, shaking my head no.

"Then don't go yet. Stay here, but you need to heal yourself, dear," she said softly.

"But how can I do that?" I asked, squinting my eyes in confusion.

"Close your eyes and focus on healing. Keep your will to live strong," she advised.

I followed her instructions and as I opened my eyes, I felt a rush of positive energy flow through my body. My organs started functioning again and I could feel the blood flowing through my veins. There was a light surrounding my body and I couldn't help but smile.

Even the doctor was amazed, saying it was a miracle that I had healed. I turned to look at my grandmother and saw her smiling too. She must have felt my gaze on her because she turned to look at me and tapped her lap, silently asking if I wanted to lay my head there. I nodded and rested my head on her lap, feeling at peace.
