CEDRIC'S POV:-

As I drove the car, I couldn't help but steal glances at the sleeping Niya beside me. She looked so peaceful, with her head leaning against the window and her chest rising and falling gently with each breath. But I couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that lingered within me.

I knew I made a mistake, something I shouldn't have done. I let my desires take over, and I ended up hurting her. Now, as she slept beside me, I couldn't help but feel responsible for her state.

The sound of her soft breathing and the warmth of her body made my heart ache. I wish I could have met Niya in different circumstances.

But now, as I drove down the deserted road, I couldn't ignore the gnawing feeling of regret in my gut.

My mind wandered back to the moment I had succumbed to my desires. I remembered how her scent had overwhelmed me and how her touch had sent shivers down my spine. I had lost control.

I stole another glance at her, feeling both guilty and helpless. I wanted nothing more than to reach out and touch her, to feel her warmth and know that everything was going to be okay. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. Not yet.

I turned my attention back to the road, letting the steady hum of the engine and the soft whirr of the wheels on the pavement soothe my troubled mind. But even as I drove, I couldn't help but replay the events of the evening in my head. The way her eyes had filled with tears, the way her voice had cracked when she spoke.

The silence in the car was suffocating, and I found myself wishing for some sort of distraction. But as I glanced at the radio, I knew that music wouldn't help.

As I pulled up to our house, I killed the engine and sat there for a moment, unsure of what to do next.

"Niya, wake up," I murmured softly, tracing a finger along her cheekbone.

"Hmm," she stirred slightly as she placed her hand on mine and mumbled in her sleep, but her eyes remained closed.

Her warmth was comforting, but her strong scent was stirring hidden desires in me. I slowly removed her hand from mine and got out of the car, walking around to open her side of the door. I tucked my one hand below the legs and one hand around her back, lifting her out of the car and carrying her to the front door.

As I held her in my arms, I couldn't help but notice how her body felt against mine. Her warmth radiated through my body, making me feel alive in a way that I had never experienced before.

I stepped into my room, carefully setting her down on the bed and tucking a blanket over her. I gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as I watched her sleep. She looked so peaceful, so innocent. But I knew that she wasn't. Niya had a darkness in her, a dangerous edge that drew me to her like a moth to a flame.

I sat down beside her, captivated by her serene expression as she slept. I couldn't help but wonder what she was dreaming about. Was it something happy, something peaceful? Or was it something dark and dangerous, something that only she could understand?

"Control yourself, Cedric," I muttered to myself, feeling a sudden surge of emotions within me.

Needing to clear my head, I got up and headed towards the bathroom, leaving my bed behind. Once inside, I turned on the faucet and waited for the water to heat up. The sound of the water droplets hitting the tub filled the room, and I closed my eyes as I breathed in deeply.

Stepping into the shower, I let the warm water cascade down my body, feeling the tension in my muscles gradually loosen. The sensation was relaxing, and I closed my eyes as I allowed myself to be lost in the moment.
