Your POV: Past

I sat in the conference room as the Avengers filed in. My breath hitched as Natasha freaking Romanoff sat beside me. She clicked her pen and was the only one who didn't stare me down. Fury came in and introduced me "everyone this is Y/N. She is a skilled agent like Romanoff, given that information Romanoff will be her S.O" Natasha looked at me and gave a small nod before turning her attention back to Fury. 

-Time Skip: Three months later-

"again Y/N" I stood and she tapped my hands reminding me to keep them up. I jabbed at the punching bag and she smiled "well done Y/N. Why don't you get some water before TGT?" I nodded "yes Miss. Romanoff" the red head rolled her eyes and game me a small smile "for the millionth time Y/N you can call me Nat" I nodded and grabbed my bottle

-Time Skip: Four months later- 

"Y/N Fury needs you in the briefing room" I nodded and shot up from my bed "coming Nat" I followed her and she opened the door for me. Fury spoke and held out a badge "Welcome to SHIELD Agent" I looked at Nat and she had a big grin on her face, I leaped in her arms and hugged her "Thank you" she hugged back "don't thank me you did the work" I smiled "still I couldn't have done it without an amazing S.O" she smiled and stood with me as we finished the conversation of new protocol with Fury

-Time skip: One month later-

"bottoms up Y/N come on" Tony spoke and I took the shot and Nat smiled at me and Bucky cheered "hell yeah" I fell into Nat giggling and she caught me "I think you've had enough for tonight, lets get you to bed" I laughed and she pulled me up off the couch and took me to my room then helped me get ready for bed. She tucked me in and turned off the light "Night Y/N" I smiled at her "Night Nat" 

-Time Skip: Two months later-

"come on Y/N what do you know about the soul stone?" Nat laid on the desk, flicking the pen in her fingers, I laid next to her "it's at Vormir" she nodded and we kept talking. I was lost in her beauty, how determined she was to save the world. I remember when I first saw her. She nudged me "hello, what are you thinking about?" I shook my head "nothing Nat, sorry, what did you say?" she continued talking

-Time skip: Two days-

Natashas laughs echoed through the room. I walked beside her giggling as I mimicked that god awful noise Scott made a couple minutes before going through the time machine. She hugged me and ruffled my hair "Infinity stones here we come" I watched the joy in her face, Her smile and the sparkle in her green eyes

-Time skip: A couple hours- 

Natasha stood beside me and gave me a little smile "See you in a minute"

-Time skip: A couple hours-

My suit placed me right back on the pad, I looked at Clint and he fell to the ground. Bruce came around "Clint, Where's Nat?" he simply looked up, tears clouding his eyes. I ran out on the compound and cried

-Present time-

I turned from the screen and looked at the man in front of me. He spoke "do you understand how much trouble you could be in for messing with the time flow? The TVA does not mess around with this" I looked down "yes Mobius I do" he sighed "I hope what you did was worth it" I looked to the corner of the room "it was more then worth it" He sighed "how was it worth it?" I looked in his eyes with tears in mine and placed the infinity stones on the table "Because I got to feel her hug me, I got to see her smile, and hear her laugh again. I got to tell her what I didn't have the courage to before she died" I looked over at Natasha again, who was sitting in the corner of the room smiling at me, I spoke "and I would do it all over again without a second thought" Mobius laughed "You knew you could bring her back didn't you?" I nodded "I needed to tell her I was in love with her"
