Luciana was awake at 7 in the morning. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. All she could think about was Michael. She was so stunned by the connection she and Michael seemed to have. She was excited to see him perform. Her heart was jumping by just the thought of it. Although, at the same time she was devastated. It would probably be the last time they saw each other face to face.. In her mind mentally, she always thought of them being together as; Michael Jackson, the King Of Pop, and  the 22 year-old woman who works in a diner for a living in L.A. Luciana was hoping for that the day she last saw him would go by slowly, because she was seriously having feelings for him and didn't want the day to come to an end.

By the time Luciana finished getting ready, it was around 8am. Her sister was still sleeping, so Luciana decided to go out and buy breakfast for the two of them. Luciana took her sisters car keys and headed down to the front lobby. She ran into one of Michael's guards that she had seen the day before. He was just ending the phone call when she noticed him. Luciana threw him a wave and a smile.

"Ms. Santiago!" He said trying to catch her before she headed out the doors.

"Yeah um,what's up?"

"Mr. Jackson was hoping he could find a way to contact you. He said he didn't want you backing out of coming to the concert, and hoped he could talk to you before hand."

"Really? Well, good thing I keep this thing on me." Luciana said pulling out a slip of paper. "This is our hotel room's number. I carried it in case I needed to contact my sister. But if it's that important, you can give this to him."

"Thank you, I'm sure he'll be pleased. Have a good day now."

"You do the same."

One Luciana got in her car, the whole ride she was confused, but at the same time she was happy. Did he get the wrong impression that she didn't want to go? She stopped thinking so much because she felt like she was making it a bigger deal than it was. All she knew is that she couldn't wait to hear his voice again. She didn't know if he felt the same way about her, but all she could do is hope for the best.

Luciana came back to their hotel room to find Dalani awake tying her hair into a ponytail.

"Hey girl! Whatcha got there?"

"Well, somebody's happy." Luciana said laughing.

"Geesh, let me be. You didn't answer my question though. Whatever it is, it smells so good."

"I just picked up breakfast for the both of us, but they can't make pancakes like mine so.."

"Right you are! But before I eat, I think I'm gonna head down to the resort and just look around and see what we can do today. Did you want to come?" Dalani said heading towards the door.

"I'm fine."

"Okay, see you in a little while!"

Luciana just sat there, eating in silence, trying not to think about Michael's phone call. Although, she was hoping he wouldn't call while Dalani was around. She didn't know what Dalani would think about her feeling for Michael. 'Would she be jealous? Or maybe even think it's a stupid thought?' she thought to herself. She was stressing herself out, which was not her goal. She needed to relax before her vacation time was over, because back home she was getting no peace.

A few minutes after Luciana finished eating, the phone rang. Luciana jumped over the bed to get the phone.

"Hello??" She said eagerly.

"Luciana?" a soft voice said.

"Who's speaking?"

"It's Michael."
