"Hey, guys, what's going on?" Midoriya said, as the group of boys ran up to him in the dorm's kitchen. He was quite focused on the tablet in front of him, mumbling his notes on each step while they arrived at the kitchen counter.

With Midoriya's response, Miku turned to see some of the boys of Class A as she was washing two apples. Trying her best, she waved, "Hello."

"What's going on, Midoriya, is that when you sneak off to the dormitory with someone, you must inform somebody! That's what's going on!" Iida chided, before turning towards Miku with a smile and a imperative hand out. "And hello to you too, Aizawa!"

"What're the apples for?" Tokoyami asked, who immediately noticed his favorite food in Miku's hands. Walking back to the counter, she placed it on a clean plate as Midoriya paused the video.

"Well, you see..."

Taking the tablet into her own hands, she skimmed through the video as he started to explain what they were doing. Midoriya said how they had promised Eri a candy apple, but according to the festival pamphlet, there were no stalls selling them. So he had bought some apples during his morning outing to the shops. Wanting some help, he asked Miku to join him, which she happily agreed to. Plus, she wanted a candy apple too.

"I see... So this is all for the little girl." Iida concluded.

"She was really looking forward to a candy apple, so I just had to make it happen somehow." Midoriya replied with a awkward smile.

"So the girl is fond of apples... She and I might get along." Tokoyami suggested.

"Yes, you have that in common!" Iida agreed, noting the time earlier in the year when he and Tokoyami had eaten many apple pies at the theme park. "You two could be apple-loving chums!"

"But can you two really make candy apples?" Tokoyami asked, unable to track any knowledge of their cooking ability.

"It's actually simpler than you'd think." Miku replied, swivelling the tablet with the candy apple recipe on it to show it to them. "There's not many steps either, so hopefully it'll be quick."

"Mhm, even I can't screw this up... Probably." Midoriya sheepishly added.

"Ooh~" The three boys hummed, impressed with the swiftness and simplicity of the recipe.

"I started to panic when the convenience store didn't have any red dye. But luckily Sato had some." Midoriya noted, holding the bottle in his hand.

"I would expect no less from out resident confectionary master!" Iida said, with a firm proud nod of his head.

"Red eye...? Like a flight that leaves late at night?" Todoroki questioned, tilting his head to the side, confused.

"N-No Todoroki— Not red eye! Red dye, like food colouring." Miku explained, with a small giggle. She placed the tablet back down and went back again to wash her hands.

"Alright! Time to do this." Midoriya stated, pumping himself up. Seeing the three boys standing around and peeking at the recipe, he suggested, "Why don't you help us?"

"Be careful not to stamp the chopstick all the way through." Todoroki pointed out, as both Midoriya went in to stab the apple.

"Hey, the sugar mix is boiling." Miku stated, as she was preparing the caramelised sugar mixture to the side.

"Here's the red dye." Iida handed Miku the bottle and she thanked him; she placed a couple of drops and the mixture went to a glossy red. After a few more minutes of boiling, Miku transferred the large pan off the stove and placed it gently on the kitchen island.
