UA Entrance Exam

"Did you get everything?" Tsukauchi asked, as he forcefully closed the door to his car. We were parked a block away from the school entrance, different students from all over the city flooding into these streets.

"Yep." I replied, taking deep breaths, trying to calm my nerves. Even though the morning had its warm radiation, my hands felt as cold as ever. I rub my hands a little, trying to create thermal heat to dissipate in my palms.

"You'll do great Miku." He spoke, letting out his words of encouragement, placing a hand onto my shoulder, "No, I know you'll do great kid."

I turn and lend him a determined smile, "I'll make sure to do my best!" I said, clenching my fist tightly. He let out a light chuckle, ruffling my hair a bit.

"I've got to go to work soon, so stay safe okay." He said reassuringly, "Good luck out there."

I flash him my smile one again and instantly wrapped my arms around his body, "Thank you Tsukauchi... for everything." He responded, bringing me into a warm hug. Tsukauchi throughout these years, he was as close I could get to a father. I break the hug and look up at him, "I'm forever grateful for what you have sacrificed for me."

"Anything for you Miku, now go pass that exam!" He said proudly, slowly approaching his car door.

"I will!" I yelled out back at him, waving and turning myself away. "I'll see you later!"

I won't disappoint you Tsukauchi...

With that being said, his car door shut and the engine bursted on. I started to walk along the street, silently making my way to the front of UA. The countless students that flowed past me, gave themselves mental prep talks getting their head's into the game. I roll up my blazer sleeves to reveal my small digital watch. 8:40am– God it's so early... I yet out a small yawn, as I came across the small bend to enter the school.

To the right of me was a white vertical sign saying 'U.A. High School Entrance Exam Location'. Following that we're solid grey stone arches, leading to the monumental large doors ahead. I'm here... I'm finally here... Stepping into the grounds of one the most elite schools in the country. I started to slowly walk behind the rest of the students around my age, ready to fight for a place in this school.

"I made it in time..." An unfamiliar voice echoed around me, slightly panting from, what I assume, a run here. With a few footsteps, I noticed the strange green hair that entered my peripheral. I side eyed towards his direction, seeing him a little unhinged. Hmm.. He must be nervous too. Not really bothered, I continue on ahead, trying to focus on the task at hand.

I soon approached the trademark symbol of UA, in it's pristine golden lettering. It's even shinier in person— Now... which door should I take? Why am I thinking about doors? Miku, focus... I continued up the tinted grey stairs. I pushed open the door which read 2, following carefully through the hallways. To the last white post reading 'U.A. High School Hero Course Exam Orientation'.

I walked silently through, trying not to make anyone notice my presence. The room was strangely dark, so it was slightly difficult to make out where my seat would be but luckily, my seat was on the farthest edge and no too far back. I placed myself down into the chair, seeing a piece of paper labelled with my name, well, my first name to be exact.

Soon the lighting from each side of the room started to turn on in accumulation. Then, an instant flash from the front, a large screen displaying the same UA crest that was in the front of the school. Suddenly, from being to absorbed in the lighting, a figure appeared from the front—

Oh my god... Isn't that Present Mic?! Yep it's him! Who wouldn't recognise that iconic swooshed up hairstyle!

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say 'HEY'!" He yelled out towards us. Sadly there was no reply to him.
