"Keep your head up and look. Observe his moves and catch the pattern." Aizawa stated.

I was catching for my breath. Sweat dripped down my face, going into my eyes and sometimes in my mouth. I quickly swipe the sweat from my forehead as I saw Present Mic take another lunge towards me. I quickly parry his first and strike him with below. Mic stumbled back a bit but was able to stay on his two feet. Within a blink I could see him recoil his head back, ready to use his quirk. Just as his lips part he tried to scream out 'YEAH!' but during that split second, I activated my erasure. So his voice came our with a weak 'Yeah' rather than a deafening one. With him caught off guard, I dashed straight for him, quicker and faster than usual. It felt exhilarating almost. My muscles in my leg tensed, a similar feeling during the entrance exam, when I erased Bakugou's quirk. Present Mic didn't have time to adjust to my quirk to get his defence up. Within the seconds I dashed to him; I plant my foot into the centre of his back, kicking him down. His arms that flew behind from the sudden force; I grab both of his wrists and pinned them to his lower back.

"H-H...How...Was that?" I said, heavily breathing in return. I deactivate my quirk and my floating hair, which is a new addition to this, fell in front of my face and smacked me a little. This is why having a ponytail hurts- I looked over at Aizawa; the bandages don't really help with reading his facial expressions. I swallowed the little saliva that was in my mouth, begging for water. It didn't cleanse my throat at all.

"Good work. Now you've beaten Present Mic nine times out of ten. I might need to find you a new sparring partner." He said, as I released Present Mic from my clutches, helping him stand back up. "Mic... What happened?"

"I WENT EASY ON HER!" Mic rebutted, brushing the dirt off his hero costume.

"I wouldn't say that." Aizawa mumbled, walking to the two of us. "Kimura-san, your speed increased when you erased Mic's quirk. Did you notice that too?"

I nodded as Present Mic threw a water bottle my way, I caught it and chugged down some of it. I wiped my mouth a bit, turning to face the two teachers, "Yeah. Something similar happened during the entrance exam, but I felt stronger and felt more powerful... If that makes any sense. But I don't really know why it happens-"

"You know, if you put you two next to each other," Present Mic interrupted, ushering me to stand next to Aizawa. He stood further away in a thinking pose, "You two do look really similar."

"Really?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows to cast my gaze upon the bandaged teacher next to me. Not a great reference when you can't see his face. I squint, placing the bottle against my cheek, trying to imagine our faces next to each other, "I don't see it."

"Yeah, me neither." Aizawa added.

"Are you two seriously that blind." Mic mumbled to himself. Both Aizawa and I shrugged at him.

"You should get going Kimura-san, we'll continue your training next week." Aizawa dismissed. "Make sure to rest properly."

"I will. Thank you for your time." I said, taking a bow then turning to the exit of the gym.

"Kimura-san." Aizawa spoke from behind me, causing my to turn at the call of my name, "Thank you."

He gave a knowing nod, must be about the card and flowers. I caught a glimpse of a confused Mic as I walked out of Gym Gamma. I smiled a bit and returned my way back to the changing rooms. As I packed my uniform into my bag, because I don't want to go into my uniform all sweaty, I thought about the main even that's coming in a few weeks. The sports festival. I feel indifferent about it, I'm worried but I'm not at the same time. I'm scared but excited. The next few weeks I need to keep focused on training. And on studies...
