"Today we're going to be training your time freeze." Sir Nighteye summed up. Miku stared back at him and nodded in response, "For this, I want you to take this piece of advice - predict your opponents next move, like looking into the future."
"But my quirk only stops time.." She mumbled, slightly skeptical about Sir's piece of advice.
"Precisely." He stated. Once again, Miku slightly squinted in confusion.
But she took in any advice she could get from him. He was a pro hero after all. "Is there anything you'd like me to do?"
"Because this is more of a long term improvement, for the rest of this week, you'll be going up against Mirio in a battle-like situation." He continued to explain, as Miku nodded understandingly, "But in the mean time, you're going to work on your fitness and strength. You get worn quite easily when you over excerpt yourself and that'll take a toll, especially when you're fighting villains."
"Hai.." Miku responded in a low tone. She didn't necessarily like doing fitness or core workouts; that's probably due to the fact that Aizawa and Vlad have some of the hardest training routines. She expects these would be even harder than what she's already been through. 'As long as it doesn't involve any diamond push-ups, I think I'll be fi—'
"Don't worry Miku-san, I'll be doing this with you!" Mirio jumped out from behind, causing Miku to jolt in surprise.
"Mirio-senpai?!" She whispered in a panicked tone, placing a hand on her rushing heartbeat. She turned to see Mirio's signature smile and in his sports kit. "Please.. Don't do that, Present Mic does that enough already."
She mumbled the last part as she regained her stance, Mirio standing tall next to her. "The workout will be simple and focus on main points of your body. First things first, Mirio, can you lead a pulse raiser as I sort this out." He ordered and the two interns instantly got to work.
Sir Nighteye had walked over to the side, readjusting his glasses after opening the folder he had made for Miku. He slightly leaned his back against the wall, flicking to the newest pages that were added.
The latest addition was on her hero costume and how it helped, though it mostly contributed to her offence rather than defence. He notice how she also sketched a little diagram on a new support item she would like to have in order to aid her quirk usage.
'Goggles, huh..' He thought, seeing how simple yet effective this would be to her. 'But to automatically hydrate your eyes? That would be interesting.' He skimmed through the rest as her actual costume was just for agility and flexibility. However, he noticed that there was still a sparse amount of items that she actually owns.
"C'mon Miku! Another three laps!" Mirio called out to Miku who was running next to him. He interrupted Nighteye's train of thought but he was glad to see the two training hard. He took a quick glance at his watch, "You got this Miku-san!!"
'I should really get her to do a patrol at some point. Maybe after the sparing match later.'
"Sir, we finished the warm up!" Mirio announced as the two started to walk back towards their mentor.
"Good timing, Mirio. Do you remember the training plan I made you when you first came here?" He asked Mirio, watching him piece the whole routine back together.
"Yes." He replied within a few seconds. Miku felt curious on what the training plan was - was it similar to the one Aizawa gave her?
"Great, I would like you to go through it with Kimura-san and add in a longer plank time.. I'd say around seven minutes." Sir suggested, seeing both of them nod understandingly.
