"We need to give it a try." Mirio confidently claimed, jumping to his feet, causing the nurse opposite him to flinch in shock. "We'll get her to wake up."
"Alright, I'll take you guys to her room." After unanimously giving their thanks to the nurse who led them to Miku's room, the three entered her room carefully. While Eri held onto Monoma's hand, the other held the flowers that they picked out for her saviour.
"Hiya Miku! It's me, Eri and Monoma!" Mirio called out, as if he would whenever he would greet her. He even waved at her unresponsive figure. Mirio's positivity had Monoma beat, though it was strangely uplifting. After bringing both Mirio and Eri a chair to sit beside Miku, Monoma sat his own chair to Eri's left, as Mirio continued to talk mindlessly. "We've come to visit you, so I hope your ears are peeled. Plus, it's the first time Eri's seen you since."
"Klexos..." Eri muttered quietly to herself as she stared back at the comatose hero. Like everyone before her, she examined Miku's state. There were tubes that ran into her nose, a plastic mask that was kept to flow oxygen into her body, and other miscellaneous tubes that ran from the left side of her chest to sachets of blood. Observing, memories with the teen had started to resurface at the forefront of Eri's mind. The times where Miku would cheer her up; the times where Miku would try and make her laugh; the times where Miku looked after her. Naturally, Eri's eyes began to water and trickle down her cheeks. She let go of the flowers she was holding and placed it beside Miku's right. As she cried, the young girl used the palms of her hand to wipe her face. But even with her long sleeved shirt soaking up her tears, her grief didn't stop. "Miku-nee...! Please wake up!"
"It'll be okay, Eri." Mirio whispered as he instantly crouched next to her, hugging her tightly. "She'll wake up soon."
"Miku, we really miss you... It's been hard trying to visit you because only a limited number of people can come see you." Monoma started, as he searched for tissues that Eri could use. Once he noticed the boxes of tissues that were next to the bed stand, he took a couple and started to gently wipe away Eri's tears. Carefully, Eri took the tissues and tried her best to wipe away the sadness. "It's not the same without you. Believe it or not, Kamakiri is extremely sad!"
While he said the light-hearted joke mostly for himself, he wasn't wrong about the state their dorm was in. Even though they knew she was bound to wake up, it was a matter of when would that be. His gaze was fixated on the resting girl. Slowly, he inched his hand towards hers, having a tight grasp on her warm hand, 'I guess today's not the day...'

"Miku, you might be... Actually, I don't even want to assume that." Akaru said, before shaking her head in denial. "Let's go find somewhere to sit."
Arm-in-arm, Miku and Akaru reached the top of the stairs that led down to the beach along with Sir Nighteye observing at their sides. While he did feel quite awkward during the family reunion, he was more than glad to see Miku happier than ever. The last time he saw her bright smile was during a training session with Mirio. Such a trivial day turned into the last time he saw her cheery. Before dealing with the Shie Hassaikai. So, seeing her calm, content and not injured was comforting for him.
At the top of the pier's landing, there were an array of rusted, green metal benches that opened out towards the ocean, providing the three with a view that Miku could never get old off. Especially as the sun was drawing down and the breeze lulled. The three sat, with Miku between them. The conversations varied from what she had been up to since both of their unfortunate passings to Miku's curiosity on her mother's upbringing. While her uncle's stories fulfilled her with enough joy to figure out the type of person and life her mother had, she still wanted to hear it from her mother herself. Which she didn't think would actually happen, but there she was. She was speaking to her mother and Sir Nighteye again. As if they both had never left.
