Jacks POV

"And you decided to have an argument with not only a pregnant woman but a pregnant Aidan?" Tyrone laughed out of shock "I thought you would of learnt by now"

"I think I just got defensive" I huffed. "I've worked so hard to get where I am in my career and I felt like Aidan just brushed it off"

"Aidan knows that bro" Tyrone said. "She just felt left out, like that you didn't think about how she would feel"

"Aidan is just such a perfectionist, I know she would of got so stressed out you know - trying to find a place , trying to organise a leaving party and then probably trying to arrange a welcoming party up in Manchester" I ranted. "I just wanted it to be low-key"

"Jack, you're probably moving to Manchester for £100 million pounds , there is no way you can make it low-key" Tyrone raised an eyebrow. "Also you and Aidan are like the UKs favourite couple , everyone wants to know what you guys are doing all the time"

"I'm going for a medical on Thursday"

"You're what now?" Tyrone chocked.

"I'm going to City for a medical on Thursday" I gulped.

"So it's actually happening?" Tyrone looked sad.

"I think so bro" I frowned. "It was a hard decision, trust me"

"I get it" he half smiled. "Just kinda never thought it would happen"

"I'll miss you" I smiled.

"Shut up" Tyrone laughed "don't make it gay"

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes and carried on stretching in the gym.

Aidan was still giving me the silent treatment when I got back home. She was sat on the sofa with a cup of tea and some reality programme on the telly.

"Did you sleep well last night?" I tried to make conversation as she slept in the spare room.

"Yes"

"Aw thats good"

"Did you?" She asked back.

"Not really" I huffed, which was true. There was way too many things on my mind.

"Aw that's good" she smiled as if she said something nice. I bit my lip to hold myself back from saying something.

"I'm going to Manchester on Thursday" I said, immediately holding my breath for the outrage that I thought would come from Aidan.

"Thanks for actually letting me know"

"Did you want to come?"

"Not really" she sounded unimpressed. "I'm going to spend time with my family and Tyrone before we go up for good"

"Oh" I said. "I thought maybe we could go out for a nice dinner and go to a fancy hotel with a spa" I suggested.

"We will be up there for 5 years probably so no need to rush" she half laughed. "Have you found a place for us to live up there?"

"No?"

"Wow! Clever" she rolled her eyes.

"City were saying that they would get us a place to stay in the meantime"

"I'm not having our child's first nights sleep be in some random flat in Manchester. Our baby's first night is going to be in our home. Even if that is in Manchester"

"I'm going on Thursday. I'll be in the car by 9, if you want to come , come" I decided to end the conversation before I regretted anything else I may say. I took myself a tea up to bed.

Aidans POV

"Do you think I am being a bitch?" I asked Tyrone as I met him for lunch. Jack left at 9 for Manchester. I did want to go with him, honestly. But my pride got in the way.

"Of course you are" Tyrone laughed as he poured me a cup of tea.

"I don't want to leave" I huffed. "Birmingham is where I grew up, where my family are, I know it here and I like it"

"Sometimes it's good to change. Molly and Tommy live up in Manchester so you know there are some people up there, and you're amazing Aidan, you will make friends in no time"

"But what about you chicken" I frowned. "You're my bestie"

"And we will still be besties you idiot" he gave me a light push. "I had to stop Jack from giving me a gay speech the other day so please don't you start"

"Says that man that has given me how many gay speeches?" I laughed. "Seriously though Ty, my life won't be the same without you, who am I going to annoy Jack with?"

"You'll find someone" he smiled "and the guys up at city are all really lovely anyway"

"I hope so" I nervously laughed.

I made my way home and turned on Sky Sports News, it took me a while to find the channel as I have never had to find it in my life. They were rambling on about some cricket match that was happening before they turned to football.

"Jack Grealish has arrived at Manchester City's training ground ahead of his £100 million pound move" the presenter said. "If he completes this medical he will become the premier leagues most expensive player in all time"

The camera panned to a clip of Jack walking into the training centre, being greeted by many different people. I couldn't help but feel all different types of anxiety for Jack.

I took my laptop out to try and distract myself by doing some work emails. Luckily thus tactic worked as when I looked back at the time is was gone 6pm.

I wasn't sure if it was the hormones that are flying around in my body but I suddenly felt awful for the way I treated Jack the past couple of days but then the next minute I would get a sudden burst of anger that he didn't tell his own wife about one of the biggest things that is happening in his life.

"Grealish" my thoughts got interrupted by him ringing my phone.

"I passed the medical" he said.

"So it's a done deal?"

"I'm now Jack Grealish, number 10 at Manchester City" I could tell he was bursting with excitement but didn't want to in-front of me.

"Look I'm sorry for not being supportive of this whole thing" I huffed, after hearing his voice I couldn't help but feel awful.

"I get it, don't worry sweetheart" he replied. "It's a big deal and I guess I just rushed into it without thinking about it. I'll see you tomorrow anyway"

"There are some amazing houses out here"

"You've been looking?" I laughed.

"Of course, we can't have our baby's first room be a random flat in Manchester" he teased, knowing what I said the other day.

"Can we get a dog this time?"

"I've been asking to get a dog for the past year, come on"

"Okay, I'll get looking" I smiled.

"For a house or a dog?" He asked.

"Both" I replied as if that was a simple answer.

"I gotta go now anyway" he said as I could hear some background noise. "I love you babe"

"Love you too, my number 10"
