Today's the last day of m/n's father before being cremated.

Everybody has gathered in the columbarium, Everyone was wearing black as per tradition when attending a deceased friend, loved one etc.

As for the team, they didn't have a black outfit but was quickly given a high class suit by m/n's mother.

As m/n's mother was comforted by her colleagues and her relatives, while she shows a sorrowful look.

While m/n was hugged by everyone else by the team. M/n never felt more cared than now.

As the team decided to part ways with the adults, and went to find places to hang since m/n wasn't really feeling like his usual self.

They were walking the busy streets when m/n's phone rang.

Now Calling...

Aren Kuboyasu <3

Accept | Decline

M/n felt the blazing stares of his peers from behind as he contemplates his next action.

He took a deep breath before clicking the accept button, quickly putting the phone near his ears as he started.

"Hello, what's up?"

"Hey! I was just wondering how are you doing?"

M/n couldn't help but smile at his friend's concern, twas nice to have someone else outside of the volleyball club.

"Im doing quite well, thank you very much"

M/n replied, as he signaled the boys who's waiting for him to resume walking as he will as well.

And so they carried on as the two conversed, unbeknownst to the boy his teammates are brimming with curiousity as they observe the small smiles creeping it's way to your lips.

They can't help but worry if this person is another competition.

"How bout you? Also, A bit odd for you to call me at a time like this?"

"Eh? but it's lunchtime..?"

"Oh right i forgot, im sorry, im in a different country right now"

"Oh? May i ask why?"

"Well, some things happened and i was required to come.."

As if aren was psychic, he didn't pressed on further and only said he understood.

"Well, i hope you're doing well, and when you're back i was wondering if we can hang?"

M/n's lip pursed as he given much thorough thought about it, he glanced at the boys who's walking infront of him, when suddenly his and atsumu's eyes met.

They had a stare down until atsumu pulled back, his cheeks flaming up.

"Uhm sure! how bout you visit my home? you'd get to meet my friends!"

The mention of the word "friends" with such enthusiasm caught all of the boy's attention. Their ears perked up interest.

"Hmm sure, it's always nice to make new friends"

"Aight! that's set, see ya next week, bye!"

he ended the call when aren bid his goodbye, before turning his attention back at his friends.

"Who was that, m/n-san?"

"Hm? oh he's just a friend i made when i was clearing my head."

Akagi only nodded despite the endless questions in his head.

As they wander around they came across a mall, and of course, being with someone who has a mental age of 6 they insisted on going inside to find an arcade.

They spent a few hours looking for an arcade only to find none. But before they could give up atsumu's observing eyes caught wind of a playground thingy.

"M/n-san! Kita-san! let's play there..!"

He pointed atthe huge playground full of plastic balls and colorful designs that was clearly made for kids 6-9.

"Aren't you too old for that?"

"No one's too old for playgrounds! C'mon stop being a buzzkill and join them!"

Akagi joined in, seeing that the twins has already admitted themselves in the playground.

M/n couldn't help but pinch the bridge of his nose as he knows that this night isn't going to end in a good note.

"Let's stop them, shin-"

He was held back by kita who seemed to be smiling.

"Why the fuck are you smiling?"

"Lighten up, m/n...You've had a long day it's not bad to unwind even in the most unconventional way."

Kita convinced the boy as he watches the other members of his team bond on the pool ball.

"Besides, if you can't stop them why not join them?"

Kita laughed as he patted m/n on his back before paying for admission before joining the rest.

M/n sighed.

"Might as well give in"

He spoke as he pays up on the person incharge, while the person who was left to guard the playground was full of questions as to why is there a group of teenage boys from a different country playing in a kid's den.

"I don't get payed enough for this..."

He said as he watches the grown men play like kids in kindergarten.
