Though his father was not faithful to his mother he was not as promiscuous as Burt or his brother Eli. Burt only knew of five mistresses that his father had the last of which was Mary Hill now Mary Young.

And until this moment he only knew of four children that his father had with his mistresses. How his father did not manage to fill this town with his illegitimate offspring he did not know.

Burt looked at the young man stunned. "Brother?" He said as he was overcome with emotion. All this time I had a brother out there that I knew nothing about.

How many more are out there he wondered. How many more brothers and sisters do I have?

"Do you want to meet him?" Mary asked.

"Yes please." Burt said.

"Zane come here honey." She said.

Zane obediently rushed over to them with a smile plastered across the face that announced to the world that he was up to no good.

"Zane I would like to introduce you to someone." Mary said as she placed her hand on his back. "This is Burt Johnson."

"Johnson?" He said as he looked at his mom. Evidently she not kept his father's identity a secret from him.

"Yes." Mary said. "He's your brother."

"Cool." Zane said. "Is great to meet you." He said as he shook his hand. "I know absolutely nothing about you."

Burt then smirked. "Well hopefully we can change that."

A look of recognition then filled the young man's eyes. "Wait a minute." He said. "You were in the diner last night."

"Yes I was." He then said "Actually a diner owned by our brother Eli, your waitress was our neice Elena, and the young man I was meeting with was our nephew Ron."

"Crazy." Zane could not stand still as he brimmed with excitement.

"How long are you guys going to be in town?" Burt asked. "My kids would love to meet you."

Zane then looked at his mom who then said "Actually we are moving here.,"

"You are?" Burt said.

Zane nodded his head. "Yes this is my last tour with the group." A look of disappointment was in his eyes.

"He is going to do a couple more concerts with them but at the end of this month he is done." Mary then touched his shoulder.

"I need time being a normal teenage boy."

"Funny I was saying the same to my son Brandon this morning." Burt said. "Who is the same age as you."

"Weird having a nephew the same age as me." Zane said.

"You have nephews and neices older than you." Burt told him. "Plus your a great uncle."

Zane's eyes widened and he again said "Crazy."

The manager called him back and he said "Gotta go." And then rushed back. He then sat down and squirmed as he tried to find something to do with his hands.

"Tell me..."

"Yes he is a bit hyperactive." Mary said.

That I could see Burt thought. "Actually I was going to ask if it was really a coincidence that he was in the diner last night?" Burt said. "I mean Eli owned that diner when you were seeing my dad, you frequented it on several occasions." A thought then occurred. "And they seemed to be spend an awful long time in there last night."

A crooked smile crossed her face. "You got me." She said. "I was hoping Eli would see him and start asking questions."

"You know you could have just came to us." Burt chided. "There was no need to play games."

"You're right." She said apologetically. "I just was not sure how you guys would react to news of his existence. I know you were not too fond of your other half siblings."

"That was a long time ago." Burt said. "People change. I've changed." He looked back at Zane who gave him a thumbs up. "I can't speak for the others but Eli and I will welcome with open arms."

"I'm so glad to hear that." She said. "He needs a loving family and a firm hand to guide him."

"Well he has both now." Burt then looked at his watch. "I should go. I have to pick up one of my sons from school." He then pulled out his wallet and pulled out a white card. "Here is my card." He said as he handed it to her. "Call me if you need anything."

"I will." She said. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He then said goodbye to her and waved at Zane who waved back.

Burt then walked to his car and texted Eli. Looks like we have another brother.

The kid in the diner last night that Elena was telling me about?

Yes Burt replied. His name is Zane and he is the son of Mary Hill.

I remember her Eli texted. Wondered what became of her.

They are removing here so we will be able to get to know him.

Eli sent a thumbs up.

"I hope you are a happy." An angry voice said from behind. Burt turned to see Gus Winters behind him with a box in his hands. "Thanks to you and that boy of yours I just lost my job."

"Second best news I've heard today." Burt gave him a triumphant look.

"You're an idiot you know that." He said. "Just like your son."

"The only idiot here is you." Burt said. "But I'm glad to see that you are employers are not however and have no problem with doing away with bad rubbish."

"Screw you Johnson." Winters said.

"No thanks." Burt said. "My standards are lot higher than my wife's."

Winters dropped the box he was holding and threw a punch at Burt. Burt blocked his punch, grabbed his arm, and then shoved him against the car twisting his arm behind his back.

"Too slow and too stupid as always Winters." Burt said.

"I'll kill you."

Burt then twisted his arm as he said "You and what army."

"Let me go." Winters cried.

Burt let him go and spun him around. "I'm only going to say this once you pathetic maggot." He spat. "Stay away from me and stay away from my family or I will tear you apart you understand me."

"Yes." The man said as his face became a mask of fear.

"Not such a big man when someone can fight back are you." Burt said with disgust. "Get your stuff and go."

Gus quickly picked up his box and hurried off with his tail between his legs.

Burt shook his head as he got in his car. Unseen to him Tommy Center lowered his cell phone after recording the exchange. He laughed as he said  "Wild."
