Leoni remembered a lot from her childhood, she was lucky like that and one memory she clung to like no other was the bottle of alcohol her father kept under the bed. at the beginning of every month Kane would sit the whole family down and take out the old dusty bottle, he would tell a story saved from earth and they would reminisce about what it would be like to live there one day. the bottle itself was labelled 'to be opened on earth'. it had never been opened. not until the banquet there was no way it had been poisoned
When Leoni woke up her head was resting on Lexa's lap her legs were stretched out against the stone floor.
"Leo?" Lexa asked when she felt the girl stir
"mhmmm" Leoni winced in pain as she sat up. she looked around the banquet room to find that they were alone
"what happened?"
"the sky people have been locked up"
"why?" Leoni leaned on Lexa to push herself up properly
"because they poisoned you while trying to kill me Leoni!" Lexa put an arm around Leoni as the blonde laid her head on Lexa's shoulder
"i can't believe they would try and kill you after everything!" Leoni felt betrayed by the people she thought were her friends
"Do you know who it was specifically?"
"Yeah but you won't like it" Lexa warned running her hand through Leoni's ponytail
"Who?"
"They found poison on Raven" Lexa admitted
"No way" Leoni laughed but Lexa didn't
"Oh shit you're serious!" The blonde sat up weakly and hugged her knees to her chest
"I'm sorry-" Lexa got up and began to walk out
"It's not your fault" Leoni cut in she stood up shakily trying to gain strength as she went to follow Lexa out the door she was met with said door being slammed in her face. Leoni heard a key turn and her stomach dropped. She tried the knob and when it didn't open she banged on the door
"Lexa! Open the door!"
"I'm sorry that it's Raven I am but she needs to pay. She could have killed you" Lexa explained painfully
"Lexa please you don't have to do this there has to be a reasonable explanation let me talk to her" Leoni shook her head in denial as she continued trying to open the door
"I won't loose you. Not when you've done everything to protect me! I won't loose you like I lost Kidra"
"No! Open the door!" Leoni put all her weight against it but the door still wouldn't budge
"Open the door" she baredged against it, rattling the handle
"Open the door!" She begged more urgently in fear of what the commander might do to Raven and her friends
"Open the goddamn door Heda!" Leoni ordered but it was no use. Lexa had walked off. Leoni continued to pound the door and shout for help but no one could hear her
"LEXA!" She screamed
"LET ME OUT" Leoni kicked the door. She then turned to see the numerous chairs and tables. She picked up a chair and flung it at the door watching as it broke into pieces
"Why are people so obsessed with locking me in?" Leoni breathed to herself throwing another chair
"OPEN THE DOOR" She yelled while banging her fists against it in frustration
"BELLAMYYYYYYY" she whined as she slid down the door banging her fists on it until they were raw and bleeding
"BELL?" she yelled banging her head against the door now
"LET ME OUT!" Leoni sobbed tearlessly.
"please" she whispered leaning her back against the door and banging her head off it in devastation
"i'm sick of being babied"
IN THE CELL
most of the sky people were sat against the stone walls calming down after the fight between Raven and Clarke while Kane paced the cell thoughtfully. all of a sudden a new sound filled the cell
"LEXA!" Leoni's voice echoed. Bellamy squinted at the noise and Kane froze on the spot
"is that Leoni?" Marcus asked in shock, he looked towards Abby who shrugged then tried to listen for another voice
"LET ME OUT" another scream came and then a loud thud
"it sounds like her..." Bellamy stood up as the thudding continued
"and if it is she's in trouble!" Bellamy and the rest of the sky people listened carefully while the thudding got louder
"it also means she's alive" Kane smiled for a second and a collective sigh of relief sounded throughout the room
"she's strong of course she's alive" Lincoln smiles softly
"shes strong but she's definitely in trouble!" Octavia frowned as she pushed herself up from the floor
"OPEN THE DOOR"
"she's still in the banquet hall" Clarke observed, Lexa must have locked her in..." Clarke started to put the pieces together before her eyes landed in Raven
"so that she wouldn't be able to get in way of punishing Raven"
"BELLAMYYYY" Leoni's whines came
"shit!" Bellamy exclaimed when he heard his name come through her pained voice. he rushed over to the cell bars and tried desperately to pull them off
"LEONI?" he yelled back but his words were lost when Indra and Nyko came to take Raven away
IN THE BANQUET HALL
"178 179 180..." Leoni begun counting to distract from the fact she couldn't save Raven. there had to be some sort of explanation she just had to see them all!
"194 195 196..." Leoni found that counting helped calm her down in stressful situations, she was prone to getting overwhelmed so counting until her breathing steadied was something Kidra had taught her to do
"207 208 209 210..."
she kept trying the door in case it had been opened which if hadn't. Between try's she walked around the room picking things up and fiddling with them. Before placing them down again
"2020 221 222-"
Leoni picked up the goblet she had drank out of. She turned it over in her hands carefully to find the shocking truth
"Angel numbers" Leoni breathed, sure it was the 222 that had lead her to this evidence. She examined the subtle red stain on the cup that Leoni knew all too well.

"Seeing as you are in a position of power people will try to kill you" Kidra taught a 12 year old Leoni
"At some point you will be poisoned and to try and prevent this for as long as possible today we're going to be trying some!" Kidra them revealed three steel goblets. One was stained with a deep and obvious purple, another the liquid inside was tainted blue and the third had a sort of subtle red you only noticed when you look closely. Guess which one was the poison, I dare you!
