When Leoni caught up with the Ark leaders, Abby and Kane were stood watching the unconscious Emerson deep in thought. Leoni walked up to her fathers side slowly. she was cautious to be near the hazmatted mountain man but she continued anyway "our blood heals them" Leoni informed the two "i don't know about mines because it's black but red grounder blood heals their radiation intolerance. that's why they take us. some are turned into reapers others become human juice machines." both adults stayed silent as the three watched Emerson "he tried to take my commander, he beat her up real bad, she was on bedrest for days" Leoni began biting her lip in anguish "she got away. told me to kill him and i did! with my arrow i shot him i swear i just- i don't understand how he survived i never miss and even so the rip in his suit would have killed him"
"they have patch kits" Abby said gently
"of course you know little miss murderer" Leoni scoffed
"yeah well it takes one to know one" Abby retorted harshly
"stop!" Kane had his eyes closed trying to remain calm "just stop!" he spat "Leoni get back to your warriors and try not to kill anyone i don't want you here for the interrogation" he told his daughter sternly
"yeah...ok" Leoni nodded, hurt he didn't want her involved but maybe it was to protect her HA who was she kidding he just couldn't stand the sight of her "message received" she saluted sarcastically and left. she walked into Raven's little radio den as she liked to call it and sat down beside her. Clarke was on Raven's other side and they were both listening for Bellamy on the radio. just then Octavia came in and Leoni stood up to let her sit but she didn't.
"heard anything yet?" Octavia asked hopeful
"not yet" Raven replied. Leoni fiddled with the material from Bellamy's shirt round her wrist nervously
"Lincoln's still missing as well" Octavia informed the group
"Bellamy will get to mount weather and Lincoln will come back" Clarke assured. then a PA announcement went off requesting Clarke and Kane's presence in the airlock chamber. Clarke got up to leave and the other three girls eyed her carefully as she left. Leoni sat down at the radio listening for Bellamy. she started twisting nobs and pressing things desperate to hear his voice
"Leoni stop" Raven slapped her hand away
"we might be missing it we need to keep trying things!" Leoni argued
"do you even know what you're doing?" Raven rolled her eyes moving the radio to the side so Leoni couldn't reach it
"yeah Axon had all kinds of C3PO shit lying about" Leoni sat back in her chair biting at her already scratched up hands
"doesn't make you qualified" Raven reminded the girl
"ughhhh" Leoni groaned pulling at her face. "i never should've let them go" Leoni shook her head towards the roof
