Everyone was now in the rover. Leoni in the middle of Raven and Jasper with her head laying tiredly on the boy's shoulder her eyes closed but flickering back open every time she started to fall asleep
"this...might be helpful with Alie" Clarke said carefully and handed a note book back to Raven. Leoni opened one eye squinting at the book to see what was going on. she instantly recognised it and sat up straight
"where did you get that" she snapped as Raven took the book, flicking through the pages curiously
"Titus gave it to me..." Clarke trailed off
"no no no no no" Leoni shook her head "you can't have that no one other than the flamekeepa can have it!"

"hey Lex check this out" 10 year old Leoni called Lexa over to the book she'd found as they raided Titus's bunker for the sweets he'd taken from them
"woah" Lexa cooed running a hand over the book
"it says Becca" Leoni pointed out
"you reckon it's..." Lexa gestures towards the sky "hers?"
"why else would it be here" Leoni shrugged
"should we open it?"
"well...i'm from the sky and you're the next commander so i'm pretty sure we're allowed" Leoni nodded. Lexa went to open the book when the door creaked and the two young girls whipped around attempting to look innocent
"don't try playing the innocence act i saw you" Kidra rolled her eyes "no one touches that book other than the fleimkeepa ok?" Kidra said sternly guiding the two girls out
"not even you?" Lexa scoffs as if Kidra was lying
"not even me" Kidra slapped the back of Lexa's head "don't forget your manners" she tutted and the two sisters walking sheepishly shared a mischievous shrug but the book was never touched. Kidra's word was final. that was how respect worked

"Titus made me the new fleimkeepa" Clarke dismissed carelessly
"but-" Leoni began to protest
"not the time for religion Lee." Bellamy smiled back at her sympathetically. Jasper pulled the blonde back down to rest her head on his shoulder once more
"i can't believe you're doing that" Leoni whispered feeling highly betrayed as she watched Raven through the corner of her eye
"Alie needs to be beat. Becca is the best way to do that" Raven brushed off continuing to flick through the book. Leoni didn't have the strength to say anything else. she buried herself further into Jasper's shoulder desperately trying to contain her tears and soothe her aching heart.
"so what's the plan now?" Octavia asked
"find Luna, convince her to take the flame and save and ensure the future of my Coalition" Leoni said dramatically "easy peasy" she shrugged closing her eyes again
"Miller isn't responding" Bellamy said suddenly
"what do you mean?" Sinclair asked
"i'm pretty sure he means that Miller isn't answering" Jasper replied sarcastically before he high-fived Leoni who didn't even have to open her eyes. the vehicle pulled up to an empty Arkadia
"must be half price at the zoo" Leoni muttered as everyone hopped out the car, Jasper offering his hand to help the blonde down
"why's it so empty?" Clarke asked more to herself than anyone else
"hopefully we don't find out" Jasper mumbled guiding Leoni through the gates. they walk into the grounds and Leoni notices Octavia stop in the middle. she pushed Jasper back slightly telling him she'd catch up and walked over to her second
"that's it he's gone" Octavia whispered feeling Leoni's presence. a shiver ran down Leoni's spine as she realised who's blood she was staring at
"no" she whispered "it's not" she kept going, blinking away the tears "he's here" Leoni took Octavia's hand "he's haunting our asses" she smiled softly and so did Octavia

"Excuse you did you just call your oh precious Queen weak?" Leoni mocked, pretending to be hurt
"What you gonna do? Chop my head off"
"Nah...I don't need your ugly ass haunting me" Leoni shot a quick smirk towards Lincoln as his jam dropped
"Harsh ai haiplana. Harsh" Lincoln laughed

"however" Leoni put her warrior face back on "Ontari is fake commander and there's a sort of robot thing controlling minds so although Lincoln's is our fight is most certainly not over and a warrior doesn't grieve the dead...until the war is won" Leoni noticed Octavia stiffen up "we've both done our fair share of crying and hurting...now we fight the war" Leoni nodded and Octavia followed suit
"ok" Octavia agreed without question
"everything we need is in Lincoln's book" Leoni started turning to face the others
"let's get it and get the hell out of here" Octavia growled and went inside followed by Jasper. Bellamy went to stand beside Leoni who was staring at the patch of blood that stained the floor.
"you good?" Bellamy asked concerned as he put a hand on her lower back. something about seeing Lincoln's blood made her remember the principals she'd been brought up with. Lexa was gone and so was Lincoln but so was Kidra, her mother and brother and she was still there, still living still breathing and still fighting
"i'm finished being a sky girl with all the weeping and pitying myself" Leoni started coldly looking at Bellamy "i'm a grounder. my family is gone. it's time i got over that" Leoni nodded and Bellamy didn't really know what to say "you don't have to say anything. you just have to understand that i can't grieve anymore" she began to shake her head to withhold her tears
"no more grieving" Bellamy repeated placing an arm around her neck and bringing her forehead to his lips. he then rested his arm on her shoulder and stroked her hair
"thank you" she whispered and he kissed her again before the two made their way inside the Ark. they explored the different weapons cabinets for things that might be useful on their journey "hey what do you do with this?" Leoni asked twirling around to face Bellamy with a small grenade in her hand "do you pull the little-"
"STOP!" everyone shouted at the same time and Leoni did as she was told
"that my sweet innocent minded Leoni is a grenade and if you pull out the pin you will kill us all" Raven laughed nervously as she took the grenade out of Leoni's hands and put it back in the box
"ah...sorry" Leoni smiled guiltily before going back to pottering "oh my god i totally forgot!" Leoni suddenly remembered "i left my bow and arrows here! hold on i'll be back" Leoni told the others and then left to the quarters she had inhabited when she'd stayed there... usually with Bellamy but none the less there she went. she went to push open the door to her dorm but it was already agape. frowning, she pushed it wider and went in. the room had clearly been raided. Leoni drew her blade as she paced the room skepticism practically dripping off of her
"Leoni Kane" a man sneered from behind the open door. Leoni whipped around to see her one most hated person
