"good. it wouldn't be as fun without a fight" Leoni shrugged, blood continued to fall down her face and limbs dangerously but she didn't let it stop her. she would get her revenge!

"nothing ever is" Octavia smirked, momentarily locking eyes with her mentor to share a moment of understanding.

"doesn't matter anyways. we came prepared" Clarke shrugged and pulled out 2 grenades.       "on me"she took lead and as soon as the door opened she rolled the grenades across the floor blowing up at least 15 men. Feeling inspired, Leoni went in next shooting person after person

"Leoni!" Bellamy called out before chucking her a blade
"happy anniversary" he smirked as Leoni twirled the shining blade around in her hand

"thank you honeyyy" Leoni smiled bashfully before plunging the blade into someone's stomach while firing a bullet through someone else's skull

"we're clear let's move!" Murphy yelled and they all walked into the stone room. everyone stepped back in awe of the stone floating. instead of it's usual brass appearance it was a wobbly white ball appearing almost holy.

"it's too late! he already put in the code" Clarke pointed out with disappointment dripping off every word

"so what is there just nothing we can do?" Murphy protested. Leoni looked at him then to the rest of her friends- no- family. if she couldn't save them now what had all of this been for? her journey to the ground, losing Kidra, risking everything to help the sky people, killing Finn, the war with the reapers, the constant battle for peace amongst the 13 clans, Jammie's death, losing Lexa, losing Lincoln, fighting the AI that had taken over almost everything, not being able to save Via, accepting the flame to fight off Alie and therefore becoming commander, the fight to beat radiation, sending her people into a conclave to win the bunker, Wonkru, leaving Octavia, Bellamy and the others leaving her, raising Maddie in a world that was almost completely dead, being tortured by Mcreary, Leading with Bloodreina, Bellamy's affair, the war against the criminal, losing Luna, losing her father, going into cryo sleep, Sanctum, Sheidheda, separating from Octavia again, Bardo, M-Cap, Losing Bellamy, giving birth in a jail cell, getting Bellamy back...kind of, Mina's death, saving Bellamy from Clarke, almost dying (for the millionth time) all the torture, all the death, all the loss, all the sacrifice, all the heartache. what had it all been for if she wasn't able to save them in this moment, this time of need. She would not let the bloodshed go to waste. she would honour the dead by saving the living.

"there's always something we can do" Leoni took a deep breath in and out before walking into the light that revolved around the stone

"LEONI NO!"

"WAIT LEONI!"

the protests were pointless. Leoni had made up her mind. she appeared at the end of a long fishing dock. she walked along it, blade ready. she could see Cadigan talking to Callie up ahead. she didn't question what the actual fuck was going on, instead she just kept her eye on the prize. she kept light on her feet as hair blew wildly across her face. she tightened her grip on the blade in her hand as she got closer to Cadigan. without a second's hesitation she thrashed the shining blade across Cadigan's neck, decapitating him immediately. she watched the separated body fall with no emotion then she turned to Calliope

"sorry about your Daddy" she shrugged but Callie didn't say a word. she just disappeared along with the body
"ok...well why am i still here" Leoni frowned as she looked around. stars of pink purple and blue on a midnight canvas could be seen from every angle imaginable. then all of a sudden the fishing dock turned into deep forestry. the forest her and Lexa used to wander carelessly
