Leoni soon found herself in the main space again sitting beside Bellamy. after the shipping container incident she didn't want to leave his side again. she had taken his hand tightly in hers (most likely, tighter than she realised) and brushed her thumb across his knuckles as their hands rested on Leoni's lap. she was unusually quiet which didn't go unnoticed by Bellamy but he didn't say anything about it for now. the group watched a girl named Shay present her poetry. people had come and go to greet Leoni who really wasn't up for small talk. Bellamy took care of the crowds. as she watched Shay speak Leoni rested her head on Bellamy's shoulder, sipping at her drink every now and again. suddenly Luna had appeared in front in the blonde
"you'll be gone by nightfall" Luna said to the group who all looked at her disappointedly "Leok will stay" Luna stated bluntly and everyone's expressions turned dark
"i will?" Leoni asked highly confused
"like hell she will" Bellamy growled snaking an arm around Leoni and gripping her protectively
"we're not leaving without her don't question how far we'll go" Jasper inches his chair towards Leoni instinctively.
"she quite clearly needs to heal! this is the best place for her to do so" Luna insisted
"we're her family!" Octavia argued
"no i'm her family!" Luna argued back
"really your her family? where were you when Lexa and Lincoln died?" Clarke snapped
"STOP!" Leoni shouted making the whole room silent. she stood up slowly all eyes on her "Luna. will you take the flame and save the Coalition?"
"no and you can't-" Luna denied cockily
"we can't persuade you, got it. I told you before I'll tell you again, I will never leave my duties behind. we'll be gone to solve our problems by ourselves before nightfall and if that ends up with me taking the flame in order to save my people then so be it sound good?" Leoni finished and everyone nodded sheepishly
"fine" Luna nodded
"so much for the great Luna, the saviour of those in need" Octavia mumbled grumpily
"Don't you dare talk to her like that" Leoni snarled at her second out of pure respect for Luna
"we take in people who are done with fighting. you are not one of those people Octavia Blake all you know is fighting and fighting to death." Luna finished and walked away. once she was far away Clarke started on her plan and Jasper left to talk to Shay
"we need to force the flame on Luna! if Leoni takes it the mutual respect between grounders and Skaikru goes out the window. Luna is our last hope" Clarke said lowly
