Darkness soon fell upon the new found promise land. Leoni sat back and watched Bellamy as he lit a fire
"You're still doing it wrong" she laughed, thinking back to that night on their way to Tondc.
"Wait wait" Bellamy held up a finger to silence her then stepped back to reveal his masterpiece as the spark finally caught on to his pile of logs
"I stand corrected" Leoni slow clapped him as he jokingly bowed before falling to sit behind her, stretching his legs out and laying back on a log. She rested her head back on his shoulder while he ran his fingers through her ponytail, kissing her gently as she settled in
"You know what I was just thinking about?" He asked tiredly
"How awesome your fiancé is?" Leoni asked sarcastically
"Apart from that" he laughed lightly
"What?"
"How the hell are you still alive?" He asked genuinely "You've been shot at least twice, impaled through the stomach by a hunk of metal, drowned, fought around 40 wars, been in numerous explosions, poisoned, been exposed to more radiation than the earth could handle and you were plummeted through space as a kid." He explained his thinking "Not counting the millions of times people have tried to assassinate you" he added
"When you gonna start listening to me? There's no killing Leoni Kane" she grinned
"And we call Murphy the cockroach" he mumbled before resting his chin on top of her head while she nestled into him with a small smile
"-last time. Eligus 4 this is expedition 1...Raven...do you read me?" Shaw asked desperately into the radio for the hundredth time but got no response
"Raven will get the radio fixed don't worry" Clarke assured and Leoni lifted her head from where it was resting on Bellamy's chest but he instinctively reached out a hand and pulled her head back down
"Not your fight" he reminded sternly and Leoni reluctantly relaxed into him again
"Look Shaw I'm sorry I turned you in ok?" Clarke said emotionally like she could burst into tears at any moment
"You really think now's a good time to do this?" Shaw asked looking around at everyone else gathered around the fire
"Maybe, just maybe...it would be a good idea for you guys to talk in private" Murphy pulled a tight lipped smile
"Yeah I-" Leoni went to give her opinion but her mouth was covered by Bellamy's hand
"Nope" he said popping the 'p'
"No, I want all of you to hear this" Clarke said and Leoni groaned sulkily "If you don't like it you can leave" Clarke suggested
"I'm comfy" Leoni mumbled and closed her eyes while Bellamy smirked down at her
