Leoni, Luna and Maddie had their guns raised at the ship as it landed
"You know what? Screw this" Leoni said and grabbed Maddie's arm "That's not my boyfriend so I'm getting you both far away until they can be trusted" Leoni said pushing the girl into the rover
"Where are we going?" Maddie asked as Leoni took off
"We don't have enough time to get home without being spotted. You're both going to the hiding den with the rest of Trimanikru and I'm doing my job" Leoni explained
"Mum no!" Maddie protested
"I agree with Mads, absolutely the fuck not" Luna agreed passionately
"Guys please don't argue with me! Once I know they're not gonna kill us you can come out but until then, hiding!" Leoni said definitively
"Yes Heda" Maddie grumbled
"Don't say that" Leoni tutted
"It's true!"
"You say it like it's a bad thing!"
"It is when you're supposed to be my mum!"
"Maddie please!" Leoni didn't want to argue
"Fine" the girl gave in "But only if Nomon is on board" Maddie shrugged
"Luna I'm trained for this! Making alliances and taking out targets!" Leoni tried to convince her sister. Luna looked at her like she was torn between 2 decisions which she most definitely was
"Fine" Luna huffed "You be so careful though Leok you got that?" She gave the blonde a parenty look
"Promise me you'll stay put until I come get you" Leoni countered when she stopped the rover. She turned to face Maddie as she held onto one of the girl's cheeks each
"Ipromise" Maddie assured
"I'll protect her and myself don't fret" Luna seconded
"Good. Now take these" Leoni revealed a gun and a radio "use the radio to give Bronco the passphrase or you won't be allowed in. Now take the gun. If you shoot. They'll hear it. So don't pull the trigger unless it's absolutely vital and for Lexa's sake don't miss." Leoni told Maddie all the stories she had from the past few years and the girl had assigned Lexa and Octavia as her favourites. She liked Bellamy but wasn't sure if he was deserving of her approval yet
"I understand" Maddie nodded. Leoni kissed the girls head then Luna's cheek before they both left the car and ran off. Leoni reversed and drove to where she could watch the ship from a safe proximity. She aimed her sniper towards the doors and watched through the scope. A woman emerged from the ship in a brown and black space suit. She removed her helmet and took a deep breath in and out. Sky people seemed to have a thing for oxygen it was kind of weird if you asked Leoni.
