The next morning Leoni woke up with a sudden jolt. She quickly chased her breath as she took in her surroundings and realised she was safe.
"Hey hey! Are you ok?" Bellamy asked instantly sitting up beside her
"Yeah...yeah I'm fine" Leoni shook off whatever force had caused her to awaken like that and fell back into her bed. Bellamy fell back beside her and the two turned to face each other
"And what about after last night? Are we good?" He asked eyebrows raised. Last night. It all came flooding back to her.
"Honestly I was just scared" Leoni admitted but Bellamy knew there was more to that answer and he gave her a look that said 'spit it out' which she replied to with an eye roll "Scared of loosing you which in fairness I still am" she added reluctantly as she tried to subtly trace her fingers over her cheek to asses his damage but couldn't do so without him seeing
"Well." Bellamy started. He reached over Leoni and put his hand in his shoe before pulling it back and holding it behind his back "How about I give you this" he put his hand in front of her face. Leoni had to squint a little to see the silver band that stood between his fingers. Her face dropped instantly at the sight of the ring "Not an engagement!" He said suddenly realising how it looked "Think of it more as a...promise ring" he took her hand in his and closed her fingers around the ring "A promise that you're never going to loose me and that one day I'm gonna get you a much nicer ring and do it the proper way...and also an...apology for...loosing control last night" he suggested, adding the last but shamefully. Leoni's heart melted. It was so full of love at that moment. All she could do was nod. Of course he loved her, he was just angry, this proved it!
"I think we're good now" Leoni joked making Bellamy laugh. Fuck she loved that laugh. She turned over so she was once again laying between Bellamy's arms. She played with his fingers while he looked at her with nothing but love and admiration
"So do I go as Mrs Blake? Or keep my own name? Ooh or we could do one of those double barrelled names like Kim Kardashian did when she married Kanye West... you know like eventually when we get married...after we save the planet" Leoni spoke softly, still quite tired but even in the midst of her own need for an extra 10 minutes of sleep she wanted to make him smile which she achieved with ease
"There's plenty of time to think about that" he kissed her neck gently making her nerves tingle
"Leoni Blake... I don't know... well i mean if you factor in my middle name it's Leoni Grace Blake?" Leoni tilted her head to the side giving Bellamy more room
"I didn't know you had a" kiss "Middle name" kiss. It was like he was trying to make it all up to her...she just didn't realise
"I kinda forgot about it until 10 minutes ago" Leoni admitted, closing her eyes when Bellamy shifted from under her and hovered over her trapped body instead, landing his hands either side of her head for support. He smirked slightly before kissing her lips one, two, three times then her chin, then her throat then her chest... "Or there's always Leoni Grace Kane-Blake... Leoni Kane-Blake? Leoni Blake-Kane? I like that actually! Leoni Grace Blake-Kane"
