This isn't your fault Bell

After arriving back at camp Kane had instructed both Bellamy and Leoni to take the night off and get a half decent sleep...which did not happen. after arriving Bellamy went silent. he felt the 49 deaths at mount weather on his shoulders.

"hey" Leoni said softly knocking on the door to Bellamy's dorm lightly. he was sitting on the edge of his bed with his head in his hands. at the sound of her voice he looked up. the boys face was one of despair. her heart breaking at his expression. without saying a word she walked over to the bed and sitting down beside him. Bellamy looked at the wall in front.
"Come on" Leoni sighed sympathetically before pulling his head onto her shoulder where he began to cry. Leoni didn't even notice at first until she heard him sniffle. with her soul shattering she wrapped both arms around him stroking his hair soothingly. She was kind of freaked out to be honest! She'd never seen him cry amd didn't exactly have much experience with feelings. he loosely hung his arms around her waist and nuzzled into the crook of her neck sobbing softly.

"i'm sorry i'm so sorry" he mumbled

"this isn't your fault Bell" Leoni insisted pulling him closer trying to mimic what she'd seen in films

"i should've been there i should've-"

"you did exactly what you thought was right. there is nothing wrong with that." Leoni kissed his head brushing the hair  back off his face

"people died!"

"there was nothing you could do!"

"but-"

"no"

"i-"

"nap"

"it's"

"nopeee" Leoni stopped the boy from saying anything more bad about himself. she pushed the boy off of her turning on the bed to face him fully. she cupped his face in her hands wiping away his tears
"you are the most thoughtful whole and good hearted person i have ever met" Bellamy tried to pull away

"no no don't do that" he denied. Leoni pushed his head back to look at her. he averted his eyes to below

"look at me Blake" she said gently and he did as she said reluctantly
"this isn't your fault." she shook her head, thumbing his cheeks as the tears fell rapidly
"you were not the man with the knife. hell you were in Polis trying to protect your people!" she smiled in awe of the boy while his hands came to trace random patterns on her thigh.
"you are so full of love but you just can't protect everyone baby i'm sorry" Leoni tilted her head letting herself drown in his eyes

"they shouldn't have died"

"no. they shouldn't have. that doesn't mean it's your fault" Leoni finished
"ok?"

"ok" Bellamy nodded slightly. his tears had stopped. they sat looking at each other for a minute before Bellamy dropped his head and rested it on her chest
"i'm so tired" he whispered. Leoni cradled his head in her hands running her fingers through his hair and kissing the back of his head softly

"i know" she cooed
"come on" she pushed him off of her and onto the bed properly. he went willingly kicking his shoes off while he pinched the top of his nose in exhaustion. Leoni pulled up the quilt over him and went to get off of the bed

"where are you going?" Bellamy asked catching her hand

"well i-"

"stay." he asked although you wouldn't be able to tell by his tone

"are you sure-"

"please" Leoni could see the need for someone in Bellamy's eyes so she sat back down on the bed, unlacing her boots and slipping them off. she turned to him. watching the wave like curls dance around his eyes. he reached out and grabbed her waist pulling the blonde towards him. he furrowed his head into her back wrapping his arms tighter around her middle. he kissed between her shoulder blades and she felt him begin to nod off against her and she turned to face him. she kissed his head softly
"i love you" Leoni whispered pulling him to rest in the crook of her neck

"i love you too" Bellamy mumbled and he began to fall asleep. Leoni didn't. She lay there letting her mind catch up with everything that had happened. All the decisions she would have to make and at some point during that she must've fallen asleep because when Leoni awoke it was early. maybe 4, 5 am? the young warrior had never been a good sleeper but the best warriors didn't sleep at all! she felt the orange sun across her face. it was past 5! 5:30 maybe? if even it could be 5:45. sitting up she yawned coming to grips with her surroundings. she pulled the bobble out of her hair letting the high pony that once stood turn into a wild flowing sea of blonde running down her back. Leoni ruffled her hair, bringing her knees to her chest and hugging them as consciousness settled in. she turned around to see Bellamy laying sleeping still. she smiled softly at him and suddenly a smile crept up his own face

"i can feel you watching me Kane" Bellamy smirked making his girl roll her eyes. she turned back to face the front wall stretching her legs out again, placing her hands behind her and leaning her head back

"good" she laughed. Bellamy sat up he still felt like shit but the sinking remembrance of all yesterdays events hadn't quite hit yet. he placed a couple of light kisses on her shoulder

"morning" he hummed resting his chin on her shoulder

"good morning" she smiled back at her boyfriend kissing him on the lips softly

"you gonna get up?" he asked pulling her closer

"if i have to" Leoni giggled when he kissed the back of her neck

"well we gotta get up for the memorial" he told her gently

"it's like 6:45 we don't have to move yet" she waved away the thought falling back onto the pillow

"i hate to break it to you Lee but it's 8:30" Bellamy told her carefully, sliding down beside her

"what?!" Leoni shot you like an arrow crossing her legs

"it's 8:30" Bellamy mumbled putting his hands behind his head and nestling into the bed

"no way..." the boys face didn't change
"how do you know that?" Leoni asked suspiciously

"My watch" Bellamy held his wrist in front of her face

"woah" Leoni ogled over the small digital device ticking away on his wrist. she slid it off and inspected it closely
"this is the coolest thing i've seen in my entire life!" Leoni laughed in disbelief holding the watch to her ear to hear the ticking

"you've never seen a watch before?"

"I mean I saw Clarke's one once but this one has like a...a screen and stuff" Leoni clarified

"keep it then" Bellamy shrugged sitting back up beside her before sliding it off and placing it in her hand

"seriously?" she asked eyebrows raised

"sure!"

"this is literally the coolest thing ever" Leoni grinned placing it on the floor and pushing him down on the bed
"which means i gotta give you an even cooler thank you doesn't it?" she smirked suggestively and Bellamy knew exactly what she was on about

"I think it's a viable reason yeah" he squinted sarcastically

"Me too" she bit her lip and went down on him
