The new adventure Leoni was ready for came rather quickly after her marriage. Leoni had been caught up with the anomaly, how Octavia and Diyoza had gone through and only Octavia had returned while also being the only person who had ever returned and with an all revealing tattoo as well! She'd left Maddie in the capable hands of Gaia and joined Gabriel, Bellamy, Echo, Indie and Octavia on their mission. Leoni had walked side by side with Bellamy the whole way, clinging onto his arm all the while, Octavia and Indie weren't far behind in the same situation while Echo and Gabriel lead the way. They made it to a small camp that all in all weirded Leoni out! There was one large tent filled with papers, books and random shit of all shapes and sizes that the group walked in to but not before Leoni eyed up the monstrosity of radios stuck together that all kept repeating their various messages
"Leoni come on" Octavia tugged on her best friend's hand and pulled her into the tent
"Now I must tell you I'm very excited about this!" Gabriel admitted as he cleared the floor from where he kneeled
"Hey" Bellamy nudged Leoni and showed her a sketch of a spiral like circle. Leoni took it off him, inspecting it carefully
"I've been studying the stone for over a hundred years! We built our camp here because of it" Gabriel explained rapidly, he was really excited! He hauled open a door in the ground and scuttled down the ladder, Echo following then Indie, Octavia and Bellamy with Leoni climbing down last. She turned to face the huge metallic sculpture and her jaw dropped. She walked towards it slowly trying to take it all in
"These symbols" Leoni pointed them out "They're the same as Octavia's tattoo" she noticed
"It's thousands of years old. We don't know who made it, how it got here or why it's here. We also don't know what causes the magnetic field that keeps it off the ground" Gabriel told them all as Leoni circled the structure curiously. She crouched down to inspect the gap between the 'stone' and the floor. "We're pretty sure this is was sucks up all the radio signals" he continued
"Ah so that's what your Christmas tree gone wrong thing out there was" Leoni nodded making Gabriel smirk slightly
"Ok so some of the symbols on Octavia's back were red what does that mean? Is it like a code?" Indie asked, eager to understand what was going on with his girlfriend
"Indeed. And now we find out what it's for" Gabriel takes in a deep breath before using the paper to help him choose a select few symbols to press down on. Every time he did so it made a slight clanging noise "Here we go" he smiled in awe of the way the buttons moved and sounded
"What happens if you're right?" Bellamy asked almost panicked as Gabriel went further through the code
"I have filled a hundred different notebooks with a billion different theories on that question" he answered
"So you have no clue, that's reassuring" Leoni confirmed
"The last symbol in the series is called octonion. Advanced mathematics that's way above my head however I don't think it's a coincidence you share a name" Gabriel said to Octavia who shifted uncomfortably "You should press the last symbol" he gestured for Octavia to go ahead. Leoni clasped Bellamy's hand in nervous anticipation as Octavia pressed on the last symbol but nothing happened "What? No no no I must've made a mistake somewhere I must've-"
"Quiet" Bellamy ordered and everyone listened as a subtle high pitched sound rung through the air. Everyone looked up the hatch to where a green light rippled
"I was right" Gabriel laughed triumphantly and hauled himself up the ladder quickly followed by everyone else. The whole tent was rattling as the green seemed to rush around them
"What the hell is this?" Echo yelled
"She's here" Octavia muttered to herself but Leoni heard
"Who Octavia. Who's here?" She asked quickly, eager to keep her second safe. The brunette gripped Leoni's hand as she stepped forward and just then a girl came through the tent flap that no one knew. She briskly walked towards Octavia causing Leoni to up her guard
"Hope?" Octavia asked like she'd just found someone she loved
"I couldn't get out of it" Hope said stepping forward "I'm so sorry Octavia" she apologised before going to hug the girl but Leoni saw it. She always, always did! She quickly threw herself between them just as Hope stuck in her knife so it stabbed Leoni. Hope looked at the blonde in shock, she'd stabbed the wrong damn person by accident! She cursed at herself before pushing the knife in further so it went into Octavia as well. The new girl stood back with the knife to get a good look at what she'd done
"Knife!" Echo called out and her and Gabriel got Hope in custody just as Octavia stumbled back into Bellamy and Leoni collapsed to the floor
"Heda? Heda what's going on!" Indie asked frantically as he dropped beside her
"Be. Strong." Leoni told him before the green seeped in and she disappeared along with Octavia. Indie was left to stare at his blood soaked hands. He looked over to Bellamy who had the same terrified expression and at that moment all that could be said was:
"Shit"
And that's the end of Season 6! It's been one hell of a ride so thank you for the votes, comments, reads, all of it! I have written Season 7 but I don't recommend reading unless you've watched it.
