"Kane!" Indra greeted walking towards them "Abby!" She shook with both of them "Welcome to Polis" she nodded smiling ever so slightly. "Ready to meet with the commander" she stated more than asked but Kane and Abby nodded regardless. Kane slightly more willingly than Abby
"So this is where you stayed last night?" Kane asked his daughter as they made their way up the winding stairs. Leoni looked to the ground cursing herself briefly before replying
"Em yeah! Lived here since i hit the ground!" Leoni gave a tight lipped smile
"oh really? wow! so em...you're good now?"
"i guess" Leoni nodded as the entered Lexa's room and towards the window looking down into the village
"i would've said something but-"
"don't worry about it Dad" Leoni patted his shoulder
"so what do you thinks gonna happen now?"
"i don't know...Lexa thinks he needs to apologise but i feel like it was kinda my fault as well"
"how was it your fault?"
"well em...i left instead of talking to him...like i stormed off...so i em"
"it wasn't your fault" Kane denied "i don't know the whole story but he seemed to be doing a whole lot of shouting and em..." Kane looked at his baby girl sympathetically "you don't deserve that"
"thanks...i just don't really know what to do next. staying here until the summit makes sense. i don't know what to do after that"
"you shouldn't abandon everything because of Bellamy Blake"
"i'm not abandoning anything i'm just not sure where to...where to stay! i'm thinking maybe split my time but when i suggested that Bellamy screamed at me so...i don't know i'll just see what happens i guess"
"They wanted to come after you you know. I knew you'd be safe so that's why no one came knocking" Kane assured
"Who's they?"
"Bellamy and em...well mainly Bellamy but Raven, Octavia, Miller, Monty even Jasper had something to say! But it was Bellamy who was in a rover trying to leave the grounds when the sun went down and you weren't back" he told her
"Is he mad at me?" Leoni asked quietly
"He's worried. And misses you" Marcus answered searching his daughter's face for a reaction
"Oh yeah?" She asked biting her cheek and scratching at her knuckles
"He's also sorry" Kane added. Just then Clarke and Lexa entered the room. Lexa sent a quick smirk to Leoni as Abby and Clarke embraced hurriedly making Leoni smile softly nearing closer to her own parent.
"Leok. Can we have the room?" Lexa asked suggestively.
"Oh yeah totally" Leoni nodded squeezing her Dad's hand before leaving knowing fine well her presence and frequent sarcastic comments wouldn't help with convincing Abby about the Coalition "I'll see you guys later oh and well done with the hair Clarke" Leoni smirked before skipping out of the room. She wasn't scared anymore. She felt good.
