When Leoni got out of the bunker she stood, hands behind her back, looking out onto her wrecked lands coldly. Her presence made people fall in line, it always had! People quickly picked up that it was better to have Haiplana kom natblida on your side and people now realised it was the only sustainable choice to be on Heda's side. No one cared for their people quite like Leoni Kane did. No one. As Leoni scanned the area her eyes couldn't help but land on Bellamy. Watching him as he was watching Echo leave with glossed over eyes. She wanted him to look at her that way. Like he would love her through the faults but she didn't feel like that anymore. Her stare must've been felt because Bellamy then slowly turned to look at Leoni. They were stood a short distance away, enough to read each other but long enough that Leoni could keep her cool

"I-it's just- em-" He stuttered trying to explain why he was upset but Leoni didn't want to hear it. He cheated on her with Echo. You could twist the story and say well it was 6 years and it wasn't for long but it still happened.
Perhaps without the flame Leoni would've been able to move past it but currently she had about 25 different voices all shouting the same message and loudest of all was Lexa. She was always able to feel her sister in the flame but just now while she was hurting, Lexa's presence was more prominent than ever.

"she'll be fine" Leoni said numbly
"And if she's not..." the blonde tilted her head as if in thought
"Well good riddance" she shrugged. Bellamy hated her like this. He knew her well enough to know that when she put on this 'I don't care about anyone or anything I could kill you in my sleep' act she was actually breaking down inside. The boy just looked at her sadly. Words couldn't describe how sorry he was so he stopped trying to put it any differently

"I'm so sorry" he told her genuinely

"So am I" she sighed shakily but then their obvious 'argument to be' was interrupted by 2 ear ringing gun shots
"damn it Cooper" Leoni growled, cursing herself before stalking off in the direction of the shooting but very quickly realised that Bellamy was at her side
"no you stay here I don't want-" she didn't want him around her, making her nervous, making her feel.

"when have i ever listened when you gave that order?" he asked with a smirk and Leoni had to fight off the wave of emotion that came over her. She looked at Bellamy for a second before deciding

"ok then tough guy let's go" Leoni gestured her head in front of them and took in a run off into the city

"you got a gun?" he asked from her side

"always" Leoni pulled out her pistol and loaded it as they approached the building.
"She's in here it's the only building you can see the entire main street from" Leoni explained, too used to her missions with Bellamy. the two crept along buildings silently, looking for the shooter

"hey up there" Bellamy stopped Leoni and pointed up to where a long sniper was being aimed

"up and at em soldier" Leoni prepared herself before running into the building and up the stairs. she burst into the room and Cooper turned around slowly
"i told you to let them go" Leoni growled furiously, gun aimed, Bellamy just behind her with his gun ready to go as well
