2 hours. Leoni and Luna had been gone for 2 hours and already Clarke had changed the plan. she'd made herself the new test subject, injecting Leoni or Luna's bone marrow into her arm and turning her blood black. the two grounder girls stood a small distance away from the main action
"how do you feel?" Jackson asked while checking her vitals
"ready" Clarke said standing up and walking over to the radiation chamber. she sent a nod to Leoni which the commander returned. she was proud of Clarke for taking lead. Lexa would've been prouder. Clarke walked over to the chamber but Abby stopped her
"i can't let you do this" Abby said. Leoni walked over slowly ready to intervene if necessary
"mum i trust you" Clarke assured her mother that everything was ok "it'll work" she nodded sure of herself "turn it on"
"jackson don't" Abby said quickly "Clarke. if you go in there you will die" she said slowly "i saw it"
"what?" Clarke asked concern filling her expression
"i saw it i had a vision and i saw it" Abby told her daughter. Leoni neared the woman and placed her hands on Abby's shoulders ready to pull her away
"we're wasting time" Clarke brushed off the insanity
"come on Abby" Leoni said gently pulling her away but Abby spun out of her grip
"no!" she shouted before picking up a metal rod and smashing the radiation chamber to pieces
"NO ABBY STOP" everyone called out but Leoni silently stepped back beside Luna who was also quiet
"ABBY NO"
"MUM STOP!"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING NO!"
"don't worry" Luna said darkly and grabbed Leoni's hand "it'll all be over soon" she finished and started to drag the commander up the stairs "we're going to bed. maybe we can at least save Leok after all the destruction you put her through" Luna growled and Leoni just followed tiredly like a lost sheep which you know what maybe she was!
the next day Leoni awoke feeling well rested for the first time in years. she'd slept between Luna's loving arms and the girl had made sure that Leoni actually went to sleep rather than her usual routine of laying down for ten minutes, pacing, training, bathroom, lay down for five minutes, pacing, training, etc etc...etc. in the morning word came through about Jaha finding the second dawn bunker. salvation. or is it? straight away Skaikru assumed they would get the bunker, then a deal was made to share it with Trikru on top of a previous deal to share their rescue plan with Azgeda however Trikru refused to bunk with Azgeda and Leoni could already see Skaikru shifting to take it all.
