when the ship landed Leoni and Maddie were the first off. they held hands as they led Wonkru into Sanctum. the once beautiful town littered with dead bodies. the sky people seemed to have a habit of doing that. turning beautiful towns into ruin and destruction. Leoni walked through the littered crowds of grieving people of Sanctum. her eyes searched for Bellamy rapidly and when they landed on him she dropped Maddie's hand and ran straight to him. she jumped up into his arms and he swung her around. she buried her face into his shoulder
"are you ok?" he asked as he held her
"no" she whispered "are you? are you ok?"
"i'm fine. everything's ok" he promised her. she kissed his cheek and at that moment her eyes caught the home she was searching for
"Tavi?" she asked shallowly and Bellamy put her down. she pushed away from the boy, pulled up her skirt and started running "OCTAVIA!" she screamed, trying not to trip over her dress. the brunette's head whipped around to spot her best friend and she started running too. they wrapped each other in an overwhelming hug, knocking both of them to the floor "oh my god my beautiful girl" Leoni weeped kissing all over Octavia's face
"i'm so happy you're ok" Octavia giggled as they came up to sit on their heels, holding one another's head
"happy i'm ok? how are you?" Leoni laughed, brushing the hair from Octavia's face as tears spilled down both of their faces
"i'm good really good" Octavia laughed, thumbing away all of Leoni's tears
"i missed you- oh my god i'm so happy you're safe" Leoni threw herself into Octavia's arms once again
"what are you wearing" Octavia laughed at the girl's dress
"it's a long story" Leoni giggled into Octavia's shoulder and once again she had everything she needed. this was the home she wanted to go to. the feeling she was deprived off when Raven took out the flame
"i'm never ever leaving you again, even if it kills me I'm right there with you" Leoni promised and leaned their heads together.
"right back at ya" Octavia grinned and just like that Leoni was ready for whatever adventure was next
