Gritting her teeth, Madelyn pulled the last glass shard out of her arm before she wiped the blood away with a warm cloth.

Her gaze fell onto Sam, who sat on the bed as he stitched up a cut on his left arm.

With a frown, the blonde made her way over to him and kneeled down in front of him, placing her hand over his as she gently took the needle out of his grasp.

"Let me.." She said softly and held his left arm as she began to pull the thread through, stitching the wound closed.

As she had done this, Sam shifted his hazel gaze away from his wound and onto the blonde, who was on her knees in front of him.

Her soft, wavy blonde locks had been pulled back into a messy bun, her hold on keeping his arm still was firm but gentle, her blue eyes focused as she tugged her lower lip between her teeth in concentration.

He didn't know how long he was staring at her for but soon snapped out of it as she shuffled, putting the needle and thread aside and grabbed hold of the bandage that lay beside him.

She gently wrapped the bandage around his arm, protecting the stitching before her eyes fell onto smaller cuts and scrapes located on his lower arm.

Without a word, she placed her hand over the smaller injuries and soon Sam felt a warm feeling course from her hand to his forearm.

He looked at his best friend in wonder and shifted his gaze towards his arm where he found no sign of cuts or scrapes once she had removed her hand.

"Thanks, Maddie.." He said, his voice filled with amazement.

"Perks of being half angel." She replied with a soft smile.

"Are you almost done?" Dean asked from the bathroom.

Sam glanced over his shoulder. "I'm done." He answered.

"Good, 'cause you know I got a dislocated shoulder over here." The eldest brother said as he exited the bathroom, holding his shoulder in pain.

"Come here." Camryn called him over, having finished cleaning and healing her own wounds that she had acquired from their jump through the window.

Dean quickly downed some whiskey and made his way over to the eldest blonde, mentally preparing himself for the pain of putting his shoulder back into place.

The eldest Nephilim huntress smiled softly in amusement at the hunter's tense demeanour and sat him down on the bed, before she placed her hand gently on his shoulder.

"Relax.." She said softly.

His verdant gaze met her greyish blue gaze, and he slowly relaxed under her soft touch with a silent nod.

"There we go.." She smiled softly and soon enough, Dean had felt the same warm feeling that Sam had felt, coursing from her hand to his shoulder.

Once Camryn removed her hand, Dean looked at his shoulder and moved it around it a circular motion, not feeling any hint of pain whatsoever.

He looked up at his best friend, giving her a grateful smile before standing to his feet and settling his gaze onto his brother.

"So, you lost the magic knife, huh?" He stated.

"Yeah, saving your ass." Sam replied. "Who the hell was that demon?"

"No one good." Dean answered vaguely. "We got to find Anna."

"Ruby's got her. I'm sure shes okay.." The younger Winchester said, resulting in Madelyn rolling her eyes at the mention of the demoness' name.

The eldest Winchester arched a brow. "You sure about Ruby?" He questioned. "'Cause I think it's just as likely she used us to find radio girl and then brought that demon in to kill us."

"No, she took Anna to keep her safe." Sam responded.

"Yeah. Well, why hasn't she called to tell us where she is?" Dean quizzed.

"Because that demon is probably watching us right now, waiting to follow us right back to Anna again." The taller brother stated. "That's why he let us go."

"You call this letting us go?" The sandy haired male asked, gesturing towards the wounds that they've acquired.

"Yeah, I do." The shaggy haired male answered. "Look, killing us would've been no problem to that thing. That's why, for now, we just got to lay low and wait for Ruby to contact us."

"How's she gonna do that?" Dean asked and paused for a moment, arching a brow in question. "Why do you trust her so much?"

"I told you." Sam replied.

"You got to do better than that." The eldest hunter stated, folding his arms across his chest. "Hey, an Im not trying to pick a fight here. I mean, I really want to understand. But I need to know more. I mean, I deserve to know more."

"Because.. She saved my life."
