The car ride was silent.

What Dean and the girls had witnessed of Sam had still hung heavy in the air, and it further added to the young hunter's anxiety as no one had said a word since they left the warehouse.

"Alright, let's hear it." He said, having had enough of the unbearable silence that hovered over them.

"What?" Dean asked, exhaustion evident in his tone.

"Drop the bomb, man. You saw what I did." The younger brother continued. "Come on, stop the car, take a swing."

"I already said all that I needed to say." Madelyn stated as she continued to stare out at the scenery that blurred by.

"I'm not gonna take a swing." The eldest brother replied.

"Then scream, chew me out." Sam stated, he couldn't take it anymore.

"I'm not mad, Sam." Dean responded with a heavy sigh, to which Madelyn scoffed at.

She was highly pissed off.

"Come on. You're not mad?" The shaggy haired male questioned in disbelief. "Look, at least let me explain myself."

"Don't." The sandy haired male said. "I don't care."

"You don't care?" Sam repeated with an arched brow and glanced over at the younger blonde before he realised that she would just add salt to the open wound if she said anything else.

"What do you want me to say, that I'm disappointed? Yeah, I am." Dean said, glancing at his brother in the rearview mirror. "But mostly, I'm just tired, man. I'm done. I am just done."

Camryn shifted her gaze to her boyfriend. His voice was eerily calm and his tone was low, which meant that he was extremely disappointed, sad and angry all at the same time.

Reaching over, she gently took his hand, that rested on his thigh, into hers and held it in her lap.

He gently squeezed her hand in response, silently telling her that he was grateful for the simple but sweet gesture, and continued to rest his hand in hers on her lap.

Sam, however, frowned deeply at his older brother. He knew that tone of voice all too well.

He released a soft, defeated sigh before his phone rang, cutting some of the tension in the car.

Retrieving his phone from his pocket and looking at the caller ID, Sam answered the call, bringing the phone up to his ear.

"Hey, Bobby." He greeted grimly.

"Hey, you, your brother and the girls better shag ass to my place ASAP." Bobby said on the receiving end.

"What's going on?" The hunter questioned with a furrowed brow, grabbing the attention of Dean and the girls.

"The apocalypse, genius." Came Bobby's sarcastic reply. "Now get your asses over here."

Hanging up the phone, Dean looked at his brother in the rearview mirror.

"What'd he say?"

"Well, thanks for shaking a tail

"Well, thanks for shaking a tail." Bobby said as he guided the hunters and huntresses towards the panic room.

"Yeah, you got it." Dean responded with a sigh as Sam opened the door and looked inside.

"Go on inside. I wanna show you something." Bobby instructed which caused Sam to walk inside the room, however, Dean, Camryn, Madelyn and Bobby had remained behind.

"Alright. So, uh, what's the big demon problem?" The shaggy haired male asked, oblivious to the fact that neither the hunters nor the Nephilims had followed him inside.

"You are." Bobby replied, grabbing the young hunter's attention. "This is for your own good."

With that, both Dean and Bobby had closed the door to the panic room and locked it.

"Guys? Hey, hey. What?" Sam said, walking to the barred window as he slowly started to panic.

With a heavy sigh, Bobby closed and latched the window just as Sam began to bang on the door.

"This isn't funny. Guys!" The shaggy haired male exclaimed in a full-blown panic. "Hey! Guys?"
