Angels, demons, Lilith and the 66 seals.
Ever since the intervention of rescuing the eldest Winchester from Hell and bringing him back to life, the angels explain that they've arrived on Earth for the first time in two decades in order to prevent th...
Nothing had happened when the demon had flicked his hand to the side.
The hunter just simply stood in place.
The demon gave it another attempt but to no avail.
He still just stood there, a smirk now tugging at the corners of his lips.
Something wasn't right.
Unless..
"You're stronger, Sam." Alastair noted. "You've been soloflexing with your little slut?"
"You have no idea." Sam replied and flicked his own hand out which had sent Alastair flying.
The 6'4" hunter watched as the demon landed on the ground harshly with a loud grunt, and raised his hand to exorcise him from its vessel.
However, before he could even begin the exorcism, Alastair had fled from his vessel - which left Sam to watch the black smoke vanish as he dropped his hand back to his side.
It was then when he had felt a heavy and heated gaze, glaring at the back of his head.
Swallowing thickly, the twenty-five year old slowly turned around and was met with a fiery blue gaze.
"Maddie--" He started softly.
"Don't." Madelyn said, cutting him off. "You said you were clean but clearly you've been using it again."
"I haven't.." Sam responded softly.
"Sam, don't lie to me." The young blonde replied with a harsh tone. "You couldn't take down Alastair the first time, back at the church. Now all of a sudden, you can? Do I look stupid to you?"
A heavy, deafening silence fell over the best friends as they stared at each other - one with saddened, hazel eyes and the other with pleading blue.
"Tell me the truth.." She said, her tone softening as she silently pleaded with him.
He stared at her in complete silence for a moment. "I swear, I didn't.." He answered, his tone just as soft as hers.
Madelyn nodded her head slowly as she stared up at the tall hunter, releasing a shakey breath as she took his hands into hers and entwined their fingers.
"I believe you." She whispered, tilting her head up to rest her forehead gently against his as she closed her eyes.
But there was a small part of her that didn't believe a word that he had told her.

Dean lied on the bed, his head resting on Camryn's lap as she gently raked her fingers through his soft sandy brown hair.
Madelyn approached the couple on the bed and handed an ice pack over to her sister, who immediately held it to the hunter's head.
"How you doing, Dean-o?" The young huntress asked as she took a seat on a chair near the table.
"I'm in pain, that's how I'm doing." Dean answered with another groan, his eyes closed. "I think I have a concussion."
"I can still heal you." Camryn offered once again, peering down at her boyfriend as she cradled his head gently in her lap.
The twenty-nine year old opened his eyes, his verdant green gaze meeting her greyish-blue. "I'm okay, baby." He reassured her with a soft smile.
"You want some aspirin?" Sam questioned.
"No thanks, House." The eldest hunter answered as he sat up. Removing the icepack from his head, Camryn had set it aside and moved her hands to his shoulders, rubbing and massaging the muscles as she felt him relax beneath her touch. "So, demons, huh?"
"Yeah." The youngest hunter scoffed lightly. "So much for miracles."
"And what the hell happened with Alastair again?" Dean questioned, taking note of how Madelyn had pursed her lips slightly and closed her eyes.
"I told you, he tried to fling me or whatever." Sam answered, flicking his hand in demonstration as he went over to the coffeemaker. "And it didn't work so he bailed."
"Well, how come he couldn't fling you?" The sandy haired male quizzed with suspicion. "He chucked you pretty good last time."
"Got no idea." The shaggy haired male responded after a moment of silence.
"Sam, do me a favour." Dean said. "If you're gonna keep your little secrets, I can't really stop you, but just don't treat us like idiots, okay? Especially me."
"What? I'm not keeping secrets." Sam replied.
"Mm-hmm." Dean hummed, still suspicious about his little brother's behaviour. "Whatever. So, did you go back and q-and-a the dead kid?"
"Didn't have to." Sam answered and held up a notebook. "Bobby called. He did some digging."
"And?"
"He thinks I'm right. Local reaper's gone." The youngest Winchester stated. "Not just gone -- kidnapped."
"By demons?" The eldest quizzed. "Why?"
"Listen to this.." Sam said as he opened up the notebook and read from it. "'And he bloodied death under the newborn sky -- sweet to taste, but bitter when once devoured.'"
"Swanky." Dean responded with a slightly nod of his head. "What the hell's that mean?"
"Well, it's from a very obscure, very arcane version of Revelations." The twenty-five year old answered.
"Which means what I think it means?"
"Basically, you kill a reaper under the solstice moon -- tomorrow night, by the way -- you got yourself a broken seal." Sam confirmed.
"How do you ice a reaper?" Dean asked. "You can't kill death."
"I don't know." Sam replied with a soft shake of his head. "Maybe demons can. Where the hell are the angels is what I want to know. We could use their help for once."
"It looks like we're gonna have to take care of this one ourselves." The sandy haired male announced.
"What are we gonna do, just swing in and save the friendly neighbourhood reaper?" The shaggy haired male quizzed.
"You got a better idea, I'm all ears." Dean said.
"Dean, reapers are invisible." Sam stated. "The only people that can see them are the dead and the dying."
"And us, but whatever." Madelyn piped in.
"Well, if ghosts are the only ones that can see them.." The eldest hunter trailed off cryptically.
"Yeah?" The youngest pressed curiously.
"Then we become ghosts." Dean stated with a smirk, grabbing the ice pack from beside him and Camryn, and held it against his head.
Sam stared at his older brother incredulously. "You do have a concussion." He said.
"Sounds crazy, I know." The twenty-nine year old replied.
"It is crazy." The younger brother agreed almost immediately.
Dean's smirk only broadened further as he stared at his little brother.
"That look just doesn't sit well with me." Madelyn said as she noted a mischievous glint in Dean's eyes.
Camryn nodded in agreement with her younger sister. "Neither with me." She added and gave the eldest Winchester a pointed look.
