Chapter 71

"Dani, wake up! Its Make up time!" Shouted Demi as she opened my curtain to reveal Her and Ally.

Ally didn't wait for me to sit up. She just pulled me out of my bunk and into her arms. I thought I was going to die for sure with all these hugs. I couldn't take it anymore.

"Dan!! I miss you" She said hugging me tighter and tighter, til I started to squirm.

"I miss you to, Ally Cat!" I laughed. "Or should I say soon to be sister-n-law" I joked giving her a little smirk. She blushed over at Demi and turned around so I couldn't see her now tomato face.

"Ok! Ok. Now let's get you ready!" Demi said. She sat me on a chair, as the lady who usually did Demi's makeup, was now doing us both.

"Is it ok to be nervous?" I asked Demi. We were getting her make up done, while I'll was getting my hair done. I was only going to sing like four or five songs, depending how I feel about singing the second to last one.

"Its totally normal my friend. You have to get use to that, cause you will always be nervous before every show. I'm still nervous and I have been doing this for awhile" I sighed. "But don't worry, as soon as you get out there, you won't be as nervous" she reassured me.

After Demi digged into my suit case, finding something for me to wear, we went to the backstage, so the team can start hooking me up to the microphone and stuff. Everything backstage was so hectic. I have always waited in the audience or on the bus, so this was a first.

"Fifth Harmony is going to perform. Do you want to watch?" As much as I wanted to say no, I nodded. She already moved on from the looks of it, and I wasn't going to keep moping around. "Are you sure"

"Positive. Its whatever" she gave me a weak smile but nodded wrapping me into a side hug.

It was really hard watching Lauren sing and dance on stage. She had an amazing voice, that I loved hearing, and I loved her interactions with the fans. She was a good person. I couldn't help but wanting to cry that things between her and I are different.

"Your after Sel, ok? Then after you, will be Demi" Phil said walking over to me. I nodded as I watched Sel perform on stage. She looked incredible, but right now, I want nothing to do with her.

When it was finally my turn, I made my way on stage as the lights were off. The first song I was going to sing was Piano. Because of Demi, I wrote this song. I fell in love with playing the piano, that I had to write a song with it. I actually loved it. Then another song called lovin' it. After that was Daydreamin', a song that I wrote when Lauren and I became a thing. Then came the one I wrote on the plane coming home. It made my body tense as I sang along. It was called Honeymoon Avenue. And the the last was a song called Tattooed heart. I couldn't help but cry singing it, and watching Lauren in the corner of my eye. She never left that side of the stage.

"That was amazing!" Demi yelled pulling me into a hug.

"Thanks" I mumbled not feeling to well. "I'm going to the dressing room" she nodded moving to the side so I can pass. Going to the dressing room, I was stopped by none other then Selena.

"Your voice is really amazing" she said softly. I nodded and continued walking. "Dan?" I stopped and looked at her. "We're going out with some of the girls family members to dinner, and I was hoping if you wanted to sit next to each other" I bit my lip nervously.

"I'll think about it. I might not go" She gave me an oh face, and walked away. I was about to get to the dressing room, when someone stopped me again.

"You have an amazing voice. My favorite was tattooed heart." I cringed not believing who's voice I was hearing.

"Thanks" I mumbled. "Good show" she nodded with a light smile.
