"I'm ugly and gross my life's a mess my depression is bad and I cant do anything without fucking it up or breaking down and getting hurt. I have to go I'm sorry i..." I was cut off by Colby pressing his lips into mine. As soon as his lips met mine I felt a warmth fill my whole body. It felt like electricity was flowing through me.

 After a minute he pulled away and brought his hands to my face causing me to look at him. "Stay" He whispered then looked into my eyes. I swear there was something in his eyes I couldn't quite figure out. Was it love no it couldn't be we just met. "okay" I whispered

. He took his hands from my face and grabbed my hand leading me back to where we were sitting before. We sat down again but this time he didn't let go of my hand. I looked up at him as he looked at me and gently rubbed his thumb back and forth across my knuckles. "What" I said softly. 

"Your not broken Marissa, your not annoying or gross, and you are so far from ugly" Colby said and brought his hand to my face. I didn't flinch this time instead I put my hand on top of his as I leaned into it. He smiled softly at me. "I like you" He said as my eyes widened with shock. "Really" I said as he took his hand off my face and grabbed my hand again. "Yes" he said. "Why I'm nothing special. I'm nothing like those L.A models, I'm not cool or talented, I can't even put up a video without editing out every single dumb joke or random adhd moment. No one wants me" I said. 

"Why do you thinks no one wants you" Colby said. "Because I've been told that more than once" I said quietly and bit my lip holding back tears. I wasn't about to cry in front him again. "Whoever said that must be pretty fucking stupid" he said. I just sighed and looked up at the calm ocean.

Colby stood up and pulled me up with him then dropped my hand as he started walking towards the water. "what are you doing" I asked as he kicked his shoes off.  He just smiled and winked as he pulled of his shirt and threw it in the sand then ran into the water. "Colby what are you doing" I said with a laugh. "Going for a swim" he said causing me to laugh even harder "Your jeans are gonna be ruined" I said and walked into the water stopping just below my knees so I wouldn't get my shorts wet.

 "Oh well" he said and waded over to me. He stopped an stared at me for a second before smirking. Before I could say anything he was splashing me as hard as he could. 

"COLBYYYY" I yelled as he laughed. When he stopped my clothes were completely drenched. "oops" he said.  I smirked and lunged at him not caring anymore because I was already soaked. I pushed him under and laughed. When he surfaced he looked at me. "oops" I said and laughed. He laughed and came up behind me and picked me up by my waist swinging me in a circle.

"COLBY IM GETTING DIZZY" I squealed after a minute and laughed. He stopped and set me down in the water as I looked into his eyes. He smiled softly and brushed a piece of my hair out of my face. "I really do like you Marissa" Colby said. "I like you too" I said "But we met literally less than 24 hours ago". I said and walked out of the water and back onto the sand with Colby following close behind. He grabbed his shirt and pulled it back on.

"I know" he said as we sat down "But there's just something about you. How about this Sam and I going back to the Clown tunnel with Kat later tomorrow to film you should come with us. Quin can come to"

'I will think about it. I have to talk to Quin because we would have to change some things around" I said.

We ended up staying till the sun started to rise. "We should probably head back. If Quin wakes up and I'm not there she will panic" I said and stood up. "Same with Sam" Colby said as he stood up. 

He grabbed my hand and we made our way back to his car.

On the way back Colby held my hand tightly as we listened to music. 

When we got back we made our way back to our rooms

"Sam Is up and said we should grab breakfast together" Colby said as he looked at his phone. We got off the elevator and walked towards Quin and I's room. "Sounds good to me" I said as I unlocked my door and walked in with Colby close behind me.

Quin was up and pacing the room on the phone. "Oh my god I'll talk to Marissa and see" she said as she turned around and made eye contact with me. "of course keep me updated" she said and hung up.

"What's up" I said as I sat on the edge of my bed as Colby came and sat next to me.

"Elliot got in a accident" she said with tears in her eyes. "Oh my god is he ok" I said and stood up and hugged her. "I don't know that was his mom she said that he is in surgery and that she will keep me updated" she said as she started to cry.

 "Hey shhhhhhh" I said and sat her down on the bed as I held her. Colby looked at me with a sad expression. "Can you grab some tissues and a glass of water for her please" I asked Colby. "of course he said then stood up and went to the bathroom as I held quin and tried to calm her down.

A few minutes later he came back with a box of tissues and a glass of water. "thank you" I said and pulled away from Quin to grab the water and box of tissues. "No problem" He said and sat back down next to me.

"Here Q" I said and handed her the tissues and water. She sipped the water and slowly calmed down as I rubbed her back.

"What did you want to ask me" I said. Quin sniffled and sighed "I was wondering if you would be ok if I went back to Minnesota early" She said. I smiled "Of course Quin don't worry about it" I said. "We can just switch your ticket to today" She smiled softly "thank you" she said

I turned to look at Colby. "Do you think Sam would mind if we all hung out here and ordered room service for breakfast so I can help Q" I said. "He's already on the way over I knew you wouldn't leave her and we both understand" He said and smiled softly at me "Thank you" I said as Sam knocked on the Door.

Colby went over and let him in as I helped Quin get started packing
