Valentino's pov

I wipe my face flushing the toilet struggling to get up from the floor. My face looks pale. I brush my teeth throwing water on my face sitting back on the floor. If Anna sees me right now she's going to know something wrong.

This is just a small bump in the road. Nothing to get her stressed about. I'm just a little sick. Everyone gets sick. Maybe I'll just tell her it's the change of weather. Yeah that can justify it a little bit. It's just stretching the truth. It's only to protect her.

"Val?" I hear Anna coming into the room. I stand as quick as I can going to her. "Yes my love?" Everything is blurry. I give her a smile and she wraps her arms around my neck. I can feel you, I can't see you. I close my eyes resting my forehead on hers and she places a kiss on my lips.

"I love you"

"I love you more" I carefully open my eyes finally gaining some vision back. Anna's icy eyes look at mine, her blonde hair tied back in a ribbon. My hoodie swallowing her body. "Your dad's downstairs with Violet, Alice brought you a bottle"

"She better have, do you know how much she's stolen from me. She's lucky I love her" Anna smiles coming with me downstairs. "Valentino my brother hi" Alice gives me a sheepish grin.

"What did you do Alice?"

"I didn't do anything yet but I need help your a guy and I don't know what to get Gio"

"Alice you both have two kids and a third on the way I think Gio's happy that you guys are married and you have a family"

"Ugh I knew I should have just gone to Anna for no help at all" She rolls her eyes sitting next to her husband. Gio puts a kiss on her cheek rubbing her belly. Ares crawls on the floor. I sat next to him. He plays with the blue ball next to me, squishing it. "Come here baby" I help him stand up as he attempts to walk. Anna sit's across from me on the floor. I turn Ares to her.

"Ares go give mama a kiss" I let go of his hands he wobbled a little bit before getting his balance. He takes one step then another and another before he reaches Anna looking up smiling at her. He places a slobbery kiss on her cheek and she smiles picking him up. "You took your first steps my love" Anna says with excitement in her voice. 8 months and already walking.

"Wasn't Gio's first steps to give Athena a kiss too?" Enzo asks and Athena nods. "Yeah, that 's exactly what it was. Luciano's first steps were to Lucky, Gio's were to me, Alessio and Achilles walked to follow Luciano and Santo. Anna's first steps were to Gio" Athenas says sitting up Lucky pulls her closer to his side she smiles at him.

Vittiorio and Vico come running downstairs throwing themselves on my lap. "Hi daddy" They look up at me like they're hiding something. They most definitely broke something again. "What did you break?" They shake their heads no hiding their faces on my side.

Now I know they broke something of Anna's

"Show me" They huff taking my hand bringing me to Anna's office upstairs. That was the first mistake Anna hates when people are in here and she isn't. She has all of her things in specific orders. "It's here" Vico points to the broken picture frame that was once set on top of the drawer.

"Your mom's going to be pissed" I tell them, picking up the picture of her and Marcello. It's of them in New York it was one of the last shows they had in Juilliard. He's kissing her cheek and she's smiling from ear to ear in his arms holding a bouquet of flowers. She always keeps this picture in here with another picture of her and Zeno next to it.
