~CHAPTER 38~

~THE NEXT DAY~

~FELIX P.O.V.~

I watched as Mrs. Ramírez left the house, my aunt Amalia closing the door afterward. She had just come in a few hours ago to explain how everything would go, until the trial arrived. It was scheduled to be in six months, and what we had to do now was get a good lawyer and pile up evidence up about what had been going on. They would ask all my firends and some of my teachers to be testimonies, since they were the ones who mainly saw me every day.

Mrs. Ramírez said that any physical evidence could also be useful, that meant that the medical report of my wrist would be used as evidence, and that I had to go through all my pictures to see if any sign of violence was visible.

As Amalia accompanied Mrs. Ramírez out the door Eric came and sat beside me, putting a hand on my shoulder with a gentle smile.

"We're gonna do this your way Felix," he said gently, "you are allowed to take as much time as you need, okay? And you can start whenever you feel ready. You don't have to look for evidence right now if you don't feel like it, and if it feels like it's too much, you send the pictures to Amalia or me, and we can do it for you. We can even be there for you while you do it if you need it okay? Or you can call your friends over, as you please. We're willing to do anything to make this easier for you."

His statement brought tears to my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away, not really feeling in the mood to cry.

"Thank you so much," I said in a quiet voice, "I just feel like clearing my head today, and forgetting about this for a while. Is it okay if I got out to the arcade to hang out with my friends, as a distraction?"

He smiled.

"Of course, do whatever you want."

I smiled before getting up from my chair and heading to my bedroom, where my phone was, still untouched from last night. I unplugged it from the charger and sent a quick message through the group chat.

~JISUNG P.O.V.~

I was hanging out with Chan and Changbin when I got Felix's message. I saw Chan and Changbin read it too.

"Wait," I said, "don't answer it yet."

They both looked at me confused after I completely set my attention back to my phone.

~FELIX P.O.V.~

I waited for a few minutes until my phone buzzed a few times.

~JISUNG P.O.V.~

I looked at my two boyfriends's shocked faces as they realized my plan had worked.

"Haha!" I laughed jumping up and down the room, "I told you guys I am a GENIUS!"
