A knot started building in my stomach as the night fell. I am so nervous about the first day of school. I really want to have a good year but my parents have been getting more and more strict with me and it is really starting to scare me, it went from rude nicknames to insults and threats to actual beatings and slaps. I think it is because they are stressed because of work, I just hope it calms down soon.

I smiled, I don't know how Jisung does it but he always manages to lift my mood. I seated myself on the chair of my desk and went through my computer, just seeing some random dance videos and scrolling through social media. I went to my e-mail and found an unread one, written by the principal.

I reread it a few times, me? Two older boys? The best student? As far as I know, I am a shy nerdy, and antisocial dude, and not exactly the best to start a conversation or actually make new friends. But I have nothing better to do so whatever, I just replied fastly since I was starting to get tired.

I sent the e-mail while yawning tiredly. I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in."
"Felix, bedtime now." Said, my mom coldly.
I looked at the time on my phone, 22:30. I sighed, it was pretty early but I know I can't argue with either of my parents.
"Okay," I said as I got in bed.
She closed the lights.
"Good night." She said.
"Good night... Mom wait!"
She turned around to face me, she looked impatient.
"I love you," I said with a little smile.
"Sure Felix," She said rolling her eyes and leaving, closing my door behind her.
Ouch, I felt a few tears falling but I whipped them away.
"You are so stupid Felix," I said to myself. "You know they would never say it back, even if they did love me, they would never say it or show it, so stop hurting yourself by waiting for some stupid words that will never fall out of their mouth," I whispered angrily.
I got under the covers and let a few more tears fall, I just want to be loved, but that seems to difficult, why can't I have a family like Jisung's?
They accept his relationship with Changbin and Chan Hyung, they love him and tell him every two seconds, they take care of him and are with him through thick and thin, I just wish it would be the same for me.
I brushed the thoughts away, my head taking me to dark places I didn't want to me in, I fell asleep shortly after, while silent tears fell down my chubby freckled cheeks.
