"Reina, mi hermanita. Could you stop daydreaming and pay attention to us?" Snapping out of daydreaming, Thiago clicks his fingers in my face and makes me return back to reality.
"I wasn't daydreaming, you guys are just boring," I say and both Lucas and Thiago scoff back.
"More like daydreaming about your husband. You see him every day, give us time." Thiago whines and I couldn't help but laugh at his actions. Lucas slaps his back and he hisses, "¡Oye! ¿Para qué fue eso?" (Hey, what was that for?)
"Because I felt like it," Lucas smirks at him and just as Thiago was going to say something back, I cut him off.
"Now, tell me you two. Why am I here?" I ask them since they didn't tell me a thing but to come to this restaurant down in the city.
"We just missed you." Lucas flashes a smile and I just know from the way he was looking at me that he was still guilty of what he did months ago and ever since he's been working his ass off to give back the money to Santi.
"I missed you too. I miss all three of you hermanos. But you know how it is. It's dangerous right now to even be together. I just-"
"It's okay hermanita. Matias and both of us are just happy you're safe. And that's all that matters." Thiago says and honestly seeing them both makes me feel at peace, knowing that they're okay though I don't see them that often.
"It will be over soon." Although I was reassuring them, deep down I knew that if something went wrong then this would be continuous. We would have to live our life in consternation. "I can't wait to see them below us. Mama and papa would be so proud of us."
"Just like we are right now." Lucas beams at me and Thiago hums in agreement. And it's after such a long time seeing Lucas put on an unfeigned smile.
Clearing my throat, I sip on my wine, "So tell me, what have you two been up to?" I ask them, curious to know what they've been doing for the past few months.
"I've been fucking girls-"
"Thiago!" Before he could even finish his sentence, I cut him off only to hear both of them burst into laughter. "I do not want to know about your sex life and firstly instead of fucking all these girls, find one to settle down with. You're breaking girls here." I add, he tilts his head, devilishly smirking at me.
"I'm a heartbreaker. Always been since childhood." He says, looking at Lucas who looks so fed up with our brother.
"And I still don't get how we're twins."
"Hey come on, we are the best twins out here!" He defends himself, throwing his arms in the air, Lucas and I shake our heads in sync and look back at our brother.
"I remember when mama had you two, Matias got jealous because all the attention was on you two." Lucas reminisce on the past and though it was something nostalgic, just hearing our parent's names makes my stomach weave. Giving a small at him, he notices the way I was looking so grabs my hand, "Reina, are you okay? You've gone pale." He whispers.
