WARNING SANTI SMUT FOR THE LAST TIME ;')
MONTHS LATER
If the last few months weren't hectic, then I don't know what was. Everything flew by, especially after Christmas, we've been non-stop with the preparations for our babies and wedding. And to be in the countryside—for our wedding, I can say we've needed this.
The moment our babies were born our lives have been revolved around them and to this day, I can't forget the day was born. They'd be here for our wedding and nothing felt so perfect as this has. They came into our lives so rapidly that neither Santi nor I had time to comprehend everything—I still find it so hard to believe they're really here.
And it's hard to believe that in a few hours, I'd be getting remarried to Santiago but this time it was by choice—I'm getting married to him again because of my love for him.
"Santi! Can you find me Eliana's bottle, I can't remember where I put it!" Holding my daughter in my arms, she barely covers my arms due to her petite body. She's been crying over the past hour, knowing she was hungry but I misplaced her bottle to feed her.
"Hermosa, give her to me. I'll make her stop crying while you find it." He enters the room, taking Eliana out of my arms into his. "It's okay baby, I know you're tired." He kisses the top of my forehead as I exhale a deep breath. I look at my other baby—my son—who was peacefully sleeping on the bed.
A few moments later, our daughter stops crying, her tiny finger wrapped around Santi's finger and it makes me wonder how he does it with her. "She really is daddy's girl." Chuckling quietly at him, he nods at my words and kisses Eliana's forehead as she falls back to sleep.
"Well, you can't say that Elias is a mama's boy." He looks back at Elias—yes we named him Elias after his brother because it fitted so perfectly with Eliana.
"Leave my little boy out of this. Look at him, sleeping so peacefully." Playfully rolling my eyes at him, he chuckles not so loud but loud enough to make me giggle. Sitting on the bed, Santi joins Eliana still in his arms. "Do you remember the day they were born?" I ask, turning my thoughts into deep thoughts.
"It's a day that I can never forget." He whispers looking at me, his eyes glossy and it only reminded me of how he cried the day I gave birth.
-FLASHBACK-
"The birth could potentially be critical. Due to her accident a few months ago, there's a danger of bleeding once giving birth especially since she's carrying twins." I don't think I comprehended that well. Neither did Santi. I could die—my babies would have no mother if this labour doesn't go as planned.
Squeezing Santi's hand, I notice the tears already forming in his eyes which only causes me to do the same. "Isn't there another way she gives birth?" Santi almost chokes on his words but gripping his hand, he somehow stops.
