Rush Collins had an unpleasant day after hearing about how Abram had basically cut Aisha off completely he almost knocked the lights out of him, stopping only because he clearly didn't care enough to defend himself, he was starting to think that helping that guy was just pointless and to finish the day in an even bigger bummer the commander herself requested him for the first time alone. So there when was in the throne room at the top of the tower with arms crossed and looking at the old woman fiddle with a huge map on a long steel table. She smiled at his disapproving face.

"I heard you got in another fight with Abram, I really hope this won't be becoming a pattern."

"That will be up to him, I swear I'm starting to think that guy just enjoys being miserable."

"Hahaha guess you two have that in common, anyway, Mr.Collins is time to work I got you a job, a hunt all for yourself."

"Does that mean I get to go the city without anyone looking over me all the time, I finally don't have to get stuck with a nanny then?"

"Hope you can handle it, Aurora and Mr.Cao are both quite busy right now, so you will have to do for this job." He crossed his arms but didn't see any point in arguing with the old lady.

"Now then here is the target, there is currently a lot going on in the Villa Blanca district, there was a kidnapping that has the whole district on a manhunt, it seems the kidnapper is this woman here." She put a bounty poster on the table showing an old woman with brown asking and messy white hair under a huge black cowboy hat, her right eye was completely white, it was probably a rather cheap prosthesis.

" A kidnapping? Ok, I really need the full story here." Rush crossed his arms while looking down at the poster, he checked the rewards and it was already in the millions.

"I'm afraid no one has the full story, the identity of the person that was kidnapped is completely unknown, but someone put this bounty for rescuing and killing the kidnapper and she is not just anyone, this woman is known as the Desperado, she is one of the most famous bounty hunters in all of the city, she had to be to make it to her seventies in that kind of job. She is called the queen of all bounty hunters, Rigoberta Carmelia." She put some newspaper articles on the desk, they all seemed to be about gunfights in the streets one of the shows was a story where a single person gunned down an entire gang by herself.

"I'm sorry but you want me to beat up an old lady? Seriously?" Rush punched the table and Emilia only groaned in annoyance.

"As an old lady myself, I'll tell you to not get arrogant, you may have the upper hand physically, but she has a devil as well. The demon Cadejo is a fully incarnated demon, a black hellhound that lives within her shadow, she has become as famous as she is because of the impeccable teamwork they have. If you going in thinking you'll have it easy, well it'll be a pity to have to drag your corpse back Mr.Rush and if I remember right the chief of police beat you up so getting a beating from a woman twice your age is nothing new with you." Rush didn't seem that convinced but he sighted, he had no comeback to that last part.

"Unfortunately you will have to go on your own, we have yet to prepare a full squad for you, but of all of us here you are the best one for a one-on-one struggle, she is alone wolf so other than the devil with her she is completely on her own for now. The people of the information agency have her tracked, they will reveal her location to you in the city and you will have to move immediately, she seems to be heading to the inner circle with the person she kidnapped in tow, this will be our only chance to get her."

"Who is the victim she kidnapped? It has to be someone important for her to risk her life this, that bounty is kind of crazy."

"No one seems to know, but is not relevant to us, you are not going there to rescue anyone, you are there to hunt." Rush looked her down with aggressive disdain. "If Im going, Im saving that person."

"Fine, it might be worth it for us to look into it, I leave that matter entirely to you, but don't waste too much time...With a bounty like that not even the information agency will keep her location from leaking, we are not the only ones on this hunt, so you better make sure to not go down in the crossfire." Rush grabbed the bounty hunter to look at the woman on it, her face had plenty of scars, he could tell that her eyes were of someone who had struggled in the most bitter of ways.

"Is there a reason why you are not sending Abram since he loves to work alone?"

"The Cadejo is a hellhound, it will smell him from a mile away, he will be a bad matchup for this job we need someone that can get close and personal, so don't disappoint us captain of the guard." He took the bounty poster with him and retired while Commander Emilia remained looking at the document on her desk, he had to give it to her, even in her old age she never seemed to stop working. Taking on the entire city at her age, what would compel a person to do such a thing? He simply had no idea, the woman who was now his commander, he could not even remotely understand her.

Two people were waiting from outside of the commander's room. One of them was and older caucasian man with short black hair, half of his face was horribly scarred due to a terrible burn. The other one was a woman with long ginger hair, she seemed quite young and was leaning on the wall with her arms behind her back. These two were members of the guard but now were dressed in the black suits of hunters, after all that happened plenty of the members of the city guard tried to become hunters to follow their commander, but only these two were accepted for now,no one else even remotely managed to get past Aurora's brutal tests. It made Collins realize how his scrap-together army wasn't really on the same level at all, but he still felt nothing but pride for them.

"So we are getting deployed to the city captain?" The man spoke, He was O'Connell Harrison, his vice-captain for more than a decade now, a man who had shared the struggles of building the city guard at his side since the beginning.

"Yes and we are getting no backup either, so I will do most of the fighting I just need you two to stay in the background and give me some support, but please don't take any risks."

"Ah, this isn't so bad, we already know how to work together, don't worry about a thing captain we have your back." The woman smiled jumping out of the wall with her hands behind her back. Her name was Daisy Willow she was a rather young recruit, but she was also the only survivor of the attack of the worm, that took down two thralls all by herself, Collins always felt she was a natural warrior so he was not surprised even Aurora could see it.

"Alright then, let's show these people what the citizen guard can really do." The two of them followed their captain, even if they wore the black suit of hunters they still had the guard's insignia upon their chests.
