Vikram sighed in relief when he finally found Tara sitting by a wall facing the opposite side of a night market.

The murmurs of crowd echoed around the air as she sat there with her back facing them.

Vikram sensed that she was angry and he should apologise but the problem was that he didn't know how.

Vikram stood there scratching the back of his head, meanwhile Tara who was actually seeing him through her phone camera, snorted trying not to laugh.

Vikram looked around to see if there was anything he could do and luckily his eyes landed on an ice cream vendor. He smiled before he rushed towards it,

Vikram brought the ice-creams and ran towards Tara. Tara quickly hid her phone and pretended as if she doesn't know him coming. She mustered upon the most angriest face and crossed her hands over her chest.

Vikram cleared his throat,

Tara....

Tara huffed turning her head to the other side, Vikram sighed disappointed before he stuck out the ice-creams in front of her face. Tara tilted her head around and glared at him,

Yennadhu idhu?

Ice cream?

Tara huffed making a poker face,

Adhu enaku theriyadha?

Vikram apologetically lowered his head,

Tara teased to which Vikram panicked looking up,

Vikram inhaled generously,

He chuckled to himself bringing a smile on Tara's face,

Vikram scratched his eyebrows before he looked up at Tara, who patiently waited for him to continue,

Tara's heart skipped a beat. She didn't expect Vikram to casually open up about such a sensitive matter to her. She expected an apology because Vikram is a gentleman and he could definitely not be able to sleep in guilt.

But Vikram here admittedly apologised because he meant it. He didn't like his instincts that hurted Tara's care and he genuinely wanted her to know that he is sorry, he feels sorry.

Tara couldn't exactly put it as words but his extremely minimal gesture made her feel somewhat special and fluttering.

Tara?

Tara hurtled out of her thoughts as Vikram nudged her to take the ice creams from him. She narrowed her eyes staring at it and to Vikram.

That naive look in his face was all that made her smile. Tara chuckled before she happily took the ice creams.
